Crypt of the NecroDancer is a extremely fun rhythm roguelike with custom music game with difficulty for everyone.
The game is still on Early Access so there's not much to say. You can play as various characters, some are easy, some are extremely difficult (i'm looking at you, Aria). The easiest character in the game is Cadence in my opinion. You walk as the hearbeats go, and the enemies move if you don't. If you don't like the whole heartbeats stuff, you can play as Bard and be free of all that crap. Other characters are a variation of Cadence, like not killing enemies or not picking up gold.
Right now, there are 3 zones and 4 bosses, Mines, Underground Forest (?), Icy Hot place (???).
Not going to spoil any of the bosses, but there's an extremely easy one, easy one, medium one (probably my favorite), and hard as balls one.
You pretty much always are carrying a sword and a shovel. You can upgrade it the sword to a broadsword, spear, longsword, whip, and even a bow and arrow which all have glass, obsidian, blood, gold, platinum, etc... variations. Same for the shovel.
You will also get Headpieces, Shoes, Armor, Potions, Maps, Scrolls, Food, Magic, and other stuff.
One complaint that i have with this game is that it recycles the enemies way too much. Want a example?
"Oh look, it's a green smile"
"Wow, it's a blue slime"
"Watch out, it's a yellow slime!"
"Please don't kill me mr. lava slime!"
"This is getting repetitive, right ice slime?"
And then there are white skeleton, white skeleton with shield, white skeleton with horse, yellow skeleton, yellow skeleton with shield, etc...
They are all different but they're pretty much the same thing with different colors/health.8.5/10
