Impression after 2 hours and sorry for my english :)

There's a ridiculous story involving two sides who constantly get into asinine arguments. These fights spiral into an all-out war, where both sides draw swords, conjure magic and do everything in their power to take over the other team's base.
Players get to choose between 3 classes - a warrior, cleric and mage. As you can imagine, each of these occupations have their own abilities and attributes.
The warrior, is best for brute strength tactics. The moves mostly revolve around close-quarters fighting.
On the other hand, there's the mage, who uses magic to throw spells and summon hurricanes. This class is good at long-range combat, but is vulnerable up close. Somewhere in between is the cleric, who can be used to erect ladders and other useful objects.
Fortunately, the game offers enough variety to keep the simple objectives interesting even when you're completing them for the 20th time.
For starters, you rank up as you take out enemies and secure towers. Those ranks allow better and more effective gear to be equipped.
You start out without the option to wear much of anything, but victory in combat grants you in-game currency called "happy coins" that you can then spend placing bets on a spinning wheel and maybe winning prizes if you're lucky.
You can also spend currency to upgrade the gear that you've already acquired and would like to keep using. If you feel like you’re wasting too much time trying to find worthwhile booty in battle or by gambling on the prize wheel, you can also invest in “happy tickets”.
Tickets allow you to quickly obtain a bundle of weapons, accessories, or one of several types of armor. Purchasing a bundle of each of the five available types will set you back more than half your tickets, and then you’ll still need to level up those weapons by spending coins earned in combat.

Every match plays out in largely the same way. Everybody starts out at level one, but with a few kills, your character will quickly gain levels and start to unlock new abilities and a larger health bar.
The idea is to capture several checkpoints across the map, that way players will respawn closer to the opposing base.
From there you're only one battle away from storming the enemy castle and becoming the victors. If you aren't successful at capturing the other team's base, then a winner will be decided at the end of fifteen minutes.

An problem is whether players will actually care to fight the same wars for very long. After spending a number of hours fighting for supremacy, I to get sick of the game's sameness. It's competitive enough to be addictive, but not deep enough to keep your attention for very long. It's the kind of thing I might return to every month or two, when there's absolutely nothing else to play.

It is, after all, a game you don't have to pay for. Happy Wars is a simple multiplayer action game.
While it is ripe with problems. You won't find anything original here, but the fast-paced action is both chaotic and addictive. Unfortunately, though Happy Wars has the potential to be a fantastic experience that is well worth your time and perhaps even your money.

As much as I want to love this game(believe me, I do), I really can't recommend this game to anyone because of the atrocious matchmaking and rather repetetive gameplay/modes. It is a mediocre port locked at 30fps. There is no communication in lobbies or in matches, except for the small commands in matches, which do not really matter at all because they are constantly spammed, making them serve barely any purpose at all.

The visual style is both charming and gorgeous, and the gameplay is fun and addicting, but it is all the other negative factors that pulls my verdict for the game down.

There are no official servers or support for community servers, the game is 100% peer to peer. You are often tossed in matches with people from the other side of the globe, then kicked out in the middle of the match because either A. The match was ended because there are too few players to actually countinue(everyone else has been disconnected), or B. You have lost connection to the other peers.

EDIT: A small point that I left out was the microtransactions present in Happy Wars. Certain items are pay2win only, but most of the items are available through luck and grinding, as expected for a f2p title. The happy tickets (Happy War's premium currency) can be used to get easier access to equipment or to make progress on certain quest. For some, premium players might seem overpowered for some, but it all depends on how well you play, not just you, but you and your team.

EDIT: In Happy Wars, each basic class possesses one archtype (advanced class), which are unlocked through the various quests in the game. The quests consist of for the most part of "doing this" or "kill x amount of that", again, more grinding. As I mentioned earlier, Happy Tickets can be used to make progress on certain quests, giving premium players easier access to the archtypes.

The community is also rather dull and the developers are barely communicating/and or listening to the players. I expressed my thoughts on the lack of servers a while back and ended up getting my comment removed.

TL;DR
Pros
+Gorgeous visual style
+Good soundtrack
+Addictive and fun gameplay

Cons
-Horrible matchmaking
-Locked framerate(locked at 30)
-Lack of communication both in matches and in lobbies
-The game gets somewhat repetetive after X amount of hours
-No sign of the developers actually communicating with the players
-Somewhat p2w

5.5/10

EDIT: For those who are rating this review down, please leave a comment and tell me why, I want to hear your opinions. General feedback is also much appreciated.

I really enjoy this game! It is funny, creative, and can be very competitive. I watched my roommate play this game 24/7, and spend his entire paycheck on this game, not regretting it. I cannot believe how addicting this game can be.

I love being the Cleric, and going to their castle, and just breaching it before they even realize they lost.

PROS:
-Addicting
-Worth spending time on
-Items are very fun to obtain
-Customizing your character can be hella funny
-Very diverse classes
-Small game requirements
-Takes up barely a Gb

CONS:
-Connections are terrible
-Lack of team communications
-Team isn't always the best (on the other hand, it's rare to find a terrible team)
-Constant disconnecting and performing "illegal actions"

I would recommend this game to anyone who likes to willingly spend time with their friends, and have a little competition involved.

I would very happily give this game a 9/10 and after writing this review, go back to playing it

So this program was written/developed by/with Microsoft, who apparently completely forgot about DEP. What is DEP you ask? Well, MS Help defines it as: "If DEP notices a program on your computer using memory incorrectly, it closes the program and notifies you." and "DEP is a security feature that...prevents unauthorized programs from executing from system memory locations RESERVED FOR WINDOWS AND OTHER AUTHORIZED PROGRAMS."

So the game crashed because my computer thinks Microsoft tried to hack Windows. Awesome. Game deleted.

It's fun. Really. But not when they always disconnect you. Not when Happy Cards are too expensive. Not when Happy Spinner doesn't actually make you happy. Not when it won't let you communicate with your team.

I enjoying this game a lot. The gameplay is fun, I love the art in this game. It was easy to pick up the controls easy. And with a bit of time maybe a few hours, you can get some good stuff.

The only bad thing I can think of is getting into matches. In some games, you are matched with people you are in your level. But in this it is random. You can go againist some very powerful people. It sucks if your a newbie in the game. But I can overlook it a bit.

Overall I say play the game. It is fun, easy to control, and looks nice.

Happy Wars Review:
Pros:
- Smooth Animation
- Large selection of Weapons, Sheilds, Armour, Helmets, and accesories.
- Decent Community
- Runs well (Even on a Vista)
- Unique Gameplay
- Fair leveling system
- Modification system for upgrading items
- Lot's of skills
- Each class is balenced and has it's own use on the battlefield
- Not always on a constant grind to get items
- Decent pay after a battle
- Fun to play with Friends

Cons:
- Limited Character customization (Hair, skin face, etc...)
- Horrible matchmaking (Pairs you up with high leveled guys when at low level, pairs you up with guys from across the world.)
- Difficult Controls
- Only three classes
- Constantly throwing advertisments to buy "Happy Tickets" in your face
- Only 5 maps
- 1 gamemode
- So many Asians
- Not enough help in the Tutorials
- The bots for starters are completly unfair, The hard ones such as the Major enemys take 60+ hits to the back with a starter weapon to kill
- The "Happy spinner" purposly makes you lose 2/3rds of the time. Unless you pay 900 happy of course.
- On most servers it lags because you get paired up with people across the world.

I think the only disappointing thing about Happy Wars on Steam is the fact that now you can't purchase the different skins, hair, mouth, and eyes.. I really hope they change that.. :(

This game over all is not that bad when you first start out. However once you gain time to get up in ranking it royally sucks at match making. Always matching you with players that over power you and continuing to keep teams unbalanced. If there are continuing to match you against players and never mixing up the teams this game is not worth playing. I'm glad its free as I wouldn't pay for it. I'm sorry for the XBox players. It's more plesant playing the Co-op section, but that still has balancing issues. There are also timing issues when hitting opponents possibly due to server lag as the game has kicked me during a winning session. All in all the game is playable, but needs quite a bit of work. It still is fun, but very frustrating. Currently I do not recommend this game. This currently seems to be a Pay to Win game unfortunately. I do hope they improve the game.

This is a really cool type of player versus player game. You join battlegrounds in which two team have objectives, much like battlegrounds in World of Warcraft. The characters look a bit like Nintendo's Mii's and have similar wobbly movements which make them look like toys. Teamwork is involved in this game. A typical BG lasts for about 10 minutes.

easy to pick up and play...real fun good mechanics. before i downloaded happy wars i read a lot people saying this is pay to win game, after playing 20+ hours i believe that is not true. if you put money into this game...it would be towards gambling aspect of the game. even if you don't put money in the beginning like me...youre going to spend the ingame coins you earned from matches and quests on that rolutte wheel that they have. i've gotten premium and super premium items on that already with out spending real dollars to get them...felt good getting them hearing those trumpets play when you get premiums...it felt little too good cause i started busting out the steam wallet and bought happy tickets LOL.

you see i don't want the premiums to play better than you...i want them cause it takes me back to my childhood spending countless quarters at those toy vending machines at the grocery stores to complete my miniture toy collection of winnie the pooh and friends, pokemons or lilttle homies or whatever.

anyways bottom line is easy to pick up and play...has good mechanics but the only problem is the insane disconnects. it's 2happening because how match making is set up. people just want to complain when they have the option to pay for items in a free game, even if the is cosmectics for your toon...youre gonna hear people crying out pay to win excuses and that scares off potential players from building a good player base in the states. asia has a good player base so guess what happens when you here in the states or when our south american cousins want to play? match maker gonna set us up with players overseas cause not enough regional players in the home region to host a match. the disconnects is just horrible...horrriblly ironic when you think about it and kinda see the bigger picture of the so called problems of the game. devs smart to port to PC before xbox-one release. i thank them cause it's a pretty good game

so friend...hope to see you in game and cause t will help stop the disconnects

Ahh...... Another game review at last. Welcome to Happy Drugs. No really.

Happy Drugs, or in this case Happy Wars is a team deathmatch game where you build towers towards the enemy's castle while they are doing the same thing towards yours.
As you can see, this game is called Happy Wars, why? Because EVERYTHING IS HAPPY! And colourful too.
You can do:
Campaign mode (Which you unlock more chapters the higher the rank you are)
Skirmish (On single player)
And multiplayer which is......................... multiplayer. (THATS HAPPY!!!)

There are 3 different classes in the game:
Warrior
Cleric
Mage

The warrior focuses on attacking and leading the charge.
The cleric focuses on team building and healing.
The mage focuses on taking down castle defenses and enchanting your allies.

You can also get items in the game which you can use to modify your classes. (You get items from doing matchs, single player or multiplayer, you can get them from the happy spinner which is basically a machine which inspires gambling, you can get Happy Tickets which can be used to get item packs and you can get items from completing missions.

EVERYTHING IS HAPPY!!!

And thats Happy Wars for you, Happiness here, Happiness there and HAPPINESS EVERYWHERE!!!! 9/10 (Serious opinion)
