Dull and boring. It is a documentary about the DOTA 2 million dollar tournament, but that's not why its boring. There are no interesting characters in this documentary. It is not a lively documentary. There is no energy and even the music is pretty sedate. Avoid this documentary, unless you're the hardest of hardcore. Its not inspiring, there's really no one to root for going into the tournament, even if they spotlight quite a few people. It is a tournament for a million dollars, but no one specifies what the money would mean for them. More people say its a chance to be the best at the world at something.
The biggest thing that I come away with after seeing this is that a mother can raise her 2 sons and put herself through law school, but the DOTA 2 playing son gets kicked out of the house AS AN ADULT for what he says is his "DOTA 2 career." That made me think, its not much of a career when you can't even move out of your mom's house. His mother raised him, all while becoming a lawyer and his career couldn't even move him out as an adult. Not just an adult but the oldest DOTA 2 pro player. After the tournament with his share, he bought a new desk. Good call. Glad your DOTA 2 career earned you so much money at the biggest tournament.
