This game's alright... I'm not at all alright while playing it, but I still love it. After the rage wears off, the game gives you a good sense of accomplishment when you finally get that 0 fault gold medal run, especially on later (hard) stages.

While Trials Fusion is a streamlined trials game (it is much, much easier than Evolution), there is still a good amount of hard tracks in the base game, and a few of them only the most persistent players will be able to "gold medal" (while others will rage quit out of the game and write a review...). There are 8 zones in the base game, and each one has 6 to 10 tracks in it (8 on average), that number is significantly increased with the season pass, which adds 6 new zones. Right now, 9/10/2014, the season pass only offers 3 zones, with 3 more on the way before May 2015. The game also includes a track editor, so you can create your own tracks, and you can easily access and play tracks built by other people online (which are pretty impressive from what I've seen/played).

Now I'm not a big fan of Ubisoft's PC releases, because I usually get hit by poor optimization issues that plague a lot of their games at release, this game's performance however, pleasantly surprised me and put a big fat smile on my face, after the stutter fest that was Trials Evolution Gold Edition, I wasn't very hopeful going into this one. The game runs perfectly smooth maxed out on my machine, and the only stutter I got was on a graphically intensive track, while I had 2 video streams running in the background, after trying the same track without flash videos hogging my cpu, the stutter went away, and the game ran buttery smooth again.

For reference, my PC specs are:

i7 920 @3Ghz
gtx660ti 2gb
8gb ram
win7 64bit

It's worth mentioning that the game has a pretty good, yet weird sense of humor, for example whenever you finish a track, something funny and dumb is sure to happen, like the rider falling of his bike after he crosses the finish line, landing in the water and racing a cruise ship, or when you cross a finish line that's on top of a 2 story hut, the door closes behind you, and the hut starts flying off like a rocket. I also really enjoy the AI commentary (I guess you can call them the narrators), and the biker's yells and woohoos remind me of Homer Simpson.

This game is a steal even at full price, and on a decent sale it should be a no-brainer if you played and liked previous Trials games, but I'm sure 2D platformer game enthusiasts would love it as well. As for the score, I'm giving it a 9/10.

I've always liked Trials. I'm sure other Trials fans will like this one as well, there's a few downsides to it though.

Major issues in this Trials game:
- Horrible framerate issues. If your machine runs BF4 on high graphics without stuttering, there's no guarantee this won't lag either. Sometimes bad machines perform just as good as good machines on this one. This is #1 issue of Trials Fusion.
- No online multiplayer, only local play. Many people are complaining about this and to be honest, I don't really care much - but it's still worth mentioning.
- The game's average difficulty is (in my opinion) higher than the other games, the real difficult tracks are only low in quantities though.

Despite these issues, I still recommend the game because it's fun, after all. The devs are working on the problems and there are updates from time to time, so the game might have improved by the time you read this.

good game... pretty much same as trials evo gold... but no online mp.. harder to run due to better graphics. They are supposed to add online mp. but right now seem focused on pumping out dlc first.

It uses uplay, that alone is enough to make me not recommend it

All jokes aside, it's a fun game with a massive skill ceiling, but it can be definitely harsh on your computer, so make sure you have good specs.

Bad game, and you need Uplay to play it. I played Trials Evolution for YEARS on my xbox360 and was actually one of the top 75 players in the world. But this game does not deliver, they took out multiplayer and a lot of the bikes are bad along with the ATV. Just not worth the price or the hassel of downloading Uplay

Well I didn't expect much out of this game... but I got it simply because I can always wind down with long easy Trials levels.
Reading the reviews of this game, I knew it wasn't much, so I don't regret buying the game. However, I cannot recommend buying this if you are looking for a good Trials game.

It is buggy, some levels are unbearably laggy (bad optimization) and the "skill games" from the previous Trials game are baaaack! And even more annoying than ever! If you want to play with keyboard, don't bother trying to do anything with those games. Ubisoft themselves wrote that they were designed for pad. But, these games are so lame that I can't be bothered configuring my pad.

The levels (when they aren't laggy) are bland. There is no challenge. I play this game when I want to wind down... It's good for that. But if you are looking for a Trials challenge, you won't find it here.
Also, you need to pay much more to get the other half of this game (DLC) and there is no multiplayer.

Buy Trials Evolution Gold Edition instead.

Level design is worse, lot's of focus to moving platforms and graphical gimmicks. Skillset required is much tougher than in Evolution, several nanosecund timing sequences pretty early in medium-ranked tracks. Game reporter stories are annoying and overall the whole futuristic theme feels pretty stupid.

Bought the game and season pass and feels like I've been ripped off, this isn't a step up from evolution but a rushed botch job from Ubisoft.
