This game is a great way to fill up time. I've played it mostly on my laptop because it can't handle the more hardware demanding games. It is a tough, complicated game, and has a good amount of realism to it. One more thing to consider is that unless you use $100 bills to light your fancy cuban cigars, do not buy games when they are not on sale. This game is no acception.
GUI: Sadly there are no 3D graphics, which are usually my favorite parts of many games, so I will review the graphical user interface. The design might be tough to understand at first, but after about 2 hours, you will understand mostly how to play. When I was intoduced into the game, I failed miserably. They could've done a better job introducing newbies, but after a couple tries, I got most of it down. Some of my friends tried it, couldn't get a feel for it, and just put it down because they didn't get how to play(Them: >:) MUAHAHAHAHA LEGALISE ALL THE METH AND DRUGS Me: *facepalm).
Gameplay: The gameplay of this game is everything you'd think it is. It is a great game, which as you probably know already is based on politics. Sadly, it does get boring if you keep playing.
Bugs: As of now, I have never encountered any bugs, although some features in the game such as assasinations can really be annoying, and should be changed up a bit because you might not get past them.
Hardware: Democracy 3 is very lightweight, which is why I can even handle it on my laptop.
Sound: The audio is quite interesting, there is music for when you're failing, succeding, and many other occasions. The gunshot sound of you getting assasinated, the cheerful music when you have 80% popularity, etc...
CONCLUSION: 8/10 Overall, it was a great game
All in all, this is a great game not meant for the casual FPS gamer.
