What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Early Access allows SNOW to reach its audience sooner and improve the core game through community feedback.”

How long will this game be in Early Access?

“SNOW will remain in Early Access until it reaches the Beta stage. At that point SNOW will be nearly feature complete with all intended content and gameplay available to the users.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version of SNOW will be a more complete experience having player progression, competitive game modes and a fully-featured multiplayer experience.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“SNOW is currently in a pre-Alpha state. This means that many core features are still in development and the game's controls and core gameplay have not been completed.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“When SNOW leaves Early Access it will become Free-to-Play.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“SNOW's community feedback is a key component to SNOW's development. Especially in this early state, understanding what features the community wants in SNOW will shape it's long-term development.”

SUMMARY
Snow is an excellent skiing game, and is really impressive consideringit being in early stages of development. Recommended for anyone looking fora quality skiing experience on PC.

FULL REVIEW
SNOW boots you to the main menu where you'll find freestyle skiing, and a store to customize your character. You also find some upcoming features, like Competitive Events. The store is filled with lots of good looking gear, and hopefully much more will come. When you hit Freestyle, you are able to select from a Mountain, the Tutorial, and an olympic themed course. The tutorial I found to be quite confusing, but most of the game is quite simple once you get the basic controls. The mountain is beautifully designed, with great views and jump points. It also has hidden easter eggs like the Yeti and Castle. The olympic course looks pretty good, and can be alot of fun to pull off tricks. Speaking of tricks, air stunts in this game flow well, and there are a great number of them. One problem with this game is sound has yet to be an implemented feature. I'd also like to mention the console's cheat commands, allowing you to slow gravity can be very fun. In conclusion, I recommend this game to anyone looking for a good skiing game on steam.

I've been looking forward to this game for quite some time and was finally able to pick it up. The existing content was already worth my money in my opinion and the planned features just seem even better. The game looks and handles wonderfully for an alpha state. There are obviosuly some imperfect parts as this game is in early access but as an avid snowboarder I am more than happy to support these devs who seem to really care about the project.
