What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Early Access allows SNOW to reach its audience sooner and improve the core game through community feedback.”

How long will this game be in Early Access?

“SNOW will remain in Early Access until it reaches the Beta stage. At that point SNOW will be nearly feature complete with all intended content and gameplay available to the users.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version of SNOW will be a more complete experience having player progression, competitive game modes and a fully-featured multiplayer experience.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“SNOW is currently in a pre-Alpha state. This means that many core features are still in development and the game's controls and core gameplay have not been completed.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“When SNOW leaves Early Access it will become Free-to-Play.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“SNOW's community feedback is a key component to SNOW's development. Especially in this early state, understanding what features the community wants in SNOW will shape it's long-term development.”

I'm not sure where to start... Finally there's a ski game that doesn't dissapoint it's fanbase. This game is the Skate series compared to the Tony Hawk games. The realistic physics, amazing graphics, and not to mention the constant support the Developers give to the community. I'm happy to be apart of this game in such an early stage and excited to see what the future holds.

I've been playing this game since very early on in the Early Access process, and am very eagerly anticipating the 1.0 release. I've been waiting for a good skiing/snowboarding game for PC for YEARS, and this is looking very much like it will be that game. Absolutely beautiful environments! Controls and physics are still definitely beta, but that's what the play testing cycle is for.

Highly recommend!

For a game in very early alpha, SNOW looks very promising. SNOW is a game I can see myself playing very often when it's fully released, however at the moment the game is a bit lacking in content. Although - from what I can tell - the game as it stands right now is more of a proof of concept than anything else. I'll say that it certainly does its job outlining a much bigger vision, however, and I have absolute faith in the developers and confidence that they'll fill the game with more and increasingly interesting content.

Some feedback I have for the game...

*Suggestions - Things I'd like to see in the game and didn't see on the planned features page*
- I'd like to be able to take off my skiis/snowboard and walk around on foot. I think it would add some maneuverability to exploring, and just generally add to the feeling of freedom in the open-world enviroment.
- Lifts. At first I was just thinking that interactible lifts would be nice aesthetically, and that they would do the same thing as respawning (pressing enter twice). But as I though about it more I realized that they really could differ from respawning and add something gameplay wise. I think that using a lift should signify that you're happy with and/or ending a complete run to the base, and using a lift will save your score. Meanwhile, respawning will become a way of completely removing a run, discarding the score, and beginning another.
- Official servers would be really nice. Meaning, some kind of server that hundreds of people could join and play together, which I think would be really fun and push the atmosphere of an actual ski resort.

*Bugs - A couple that I found while playing*
- Some clothing remains the default color even after changing. I can't remember the exact clothing items that were giving me trouble. From what I remember it was mostly pants.
- The menu is sometimes a little buggy during gameplay.
**EDIT** I found another issue. The game refuses to let me turn off the HUD in the options menu. Nothing happens.
**EDIT 2** Pressing esc while dead then closing out of the menu prevents you from doing anything.

*My Priorities - Things I saw on the planned features page that I'd like to see added the fastest. In order of importance (to me)*
- Sound. The lack of sound is really irritating, and just feels plain unatural.
- Snowboards. This should be pretty obvious, everyone's asking for it.
- More mountains, I've already expored a majority of Sialia and looking for more.

Great game, much like a skiing simulator. Realistic and smooth.

So snow is a snowsports game, where you can eather ski or snowbard, you can go multiplayer over a Mountain, much lika a oper world snowsports game.
There is a park for those who like to rail and jump, and some thrilling mountainsides for the back-country orrienten kinda guy.

If you like to ski or snowboard and have been waiting for a new, realistic and realy fun game in genre.
Well then SNOW is the game for you.

Did i mention you can ride i 1st person aswell? NO? well you can, and if awsome but very hard.

Enjoy!
