> Start a trade agreement with Argentina.
> Some time later, Argentina starts default on its debt.

10/10 for the realistic financial representation

I have a decent computer, more than capable of running this and this game still lags when scrolling or zooming on the map. Seriously, I told the developers about this while it was in Early Access. They said they were looking into it, I waited patiently for it to appear in the patch notes. Never did. The graphics are not 2014 quality, hell C&C looks better than this and that came out over 7 years ago! I asked them during development if the textures would change, they said the game isn't finished yet. They didn't do anything to textures what so ever. The tutorial is vague which makes it very difficult to play. Upon researching what the hell went wrong I found that all the games in this series are literally a copy and paste. The developers most likely put absolutely no effort into this. Take this as you will, but believe me you will find more joy in Civ 5 or AoW3 and possibly even RoN.

And to the developers I hope you don't block, flag or delete this like other developers have been doing. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and have the right to express how they feel about a game. I tried to like this game I honestly did, the problems were just too glaring. If I could get a refund I would.

I have many hundreds of hours into SR 2020 from before the time of Steam.
I have bought 2 of the newer versions of Supreme Ruler on Steam... Cold War and 1936. Both of which seem to be unfinished versions of the same game they continue to re release every few years with a new and improved version. Ultimate being the newest version.

Is the game bad? No... but it will leave you with a bitter taste in your mouth when you realize the limitations of the game and the seemingly lack of desire of the devs to actually make the game work like it should.

If you have never played a Supreme Ruler game then the newest version might not be too bad of an investment... but dont be bitter when they decide to make Super Ultimate version and leave your copy unfinished and unsatisfying because alienating their community for a few extra bucks seems to be their thing.

You can play as any country in the world in one of the most bloody periods in history. This game does not have any servers for multiplayer though so you need to use websites like hamachi for multiplayer.

9/10 Highly addictive, and viable real time alternative for games such as civ series.

No gripes other than micro managing individual units is hard (i hate the initiative system) especially for strategic bombers, nukes and naval asssets.
