Time to step it up Polyphony, this is measurably better than GT6. Better feel, better graphics, better realism, better options... the list goes on. And with a community of moders and the ability to add cars over time, I'm sure this game's garage will develop into something truly comparible. I understand this is PC vs Console but who cares. Graphics aren't as important as the feel of being connected with the car and the speed you're actually going. AC translates the feeling of speed in a way I've never felt with GT6. If you have a wheel and love racing games, get this game, period.

This game saved me a fortune - for just £29.99, I now know I can't drive that Lotus Evora S I've always wanted. While I limit myself to a Mondeo, anyone else who wants a racing sim will be impressed with the current build state.

You can also import your own tracks and cars, and tweak literally everything. It looks and drives great, but needs a Golliath of a PC to run this at the highest physics and graphics detail - as you would expect for a game built to use all that extra PC power available to it over a console.

I have been sim racing for about 6 months now and have tried many sims including iRacing, rFactor and Game Stock Car, as well as many simcade titles as well. I can say without a doubt that Assetto Corsa feels like the best. That's not to say the others are without merit, they have their own strengths and weaknesses. But when it comes to communicating the way the car feels to you through a force feedback wheel, AC is second to none. You can truly feel when your car is riding on the edge of available grip and the car will react accordingly to the inputs you give it. The physics and FFB are something that need to be felt to be believed.

The AI needs some work but can be passable, however I feel that online leagues where this game will shine for those looking for strong, clean, competitibe racing. Public lobbies can be ok, however you may find griefers driving the wrong way and trying to wreck others. Ask around forums or check steam groups if you are looking for clean racers.

I hesitate to speak too much on controllers as I use a wheel and pedals, but I will say with many aids turned on it's not impossible to keep yourself on track. It may be a fine way to learn the tracks while waiting to purcahse a wheel.

I have no doubt Kunos will continue to supply top-notch free and paid content in the coming years which will be finely supplimented by content created by modders. AC will definitely be a hub for great racing from many different fandoms in the motorsports world. I highly recomend it.

This Simulator is Solid. In comparison to Race 07, Simraceway, GT6, and forza. This is the most realistic and exciting Sims I've come across. I use a Logitech G27 and its flawless. I've spent a good amount of time on real tracks it the real world and this is it. Can't wait to get my hands on the full version. Assetto Corsa is great. Hope they release a rally version.

Realistic physics, Good graphics, Real Cars, Real Tracks, KS EDITOR for importing community made tracks and cars! This is a must for every fan or real driving simulation! ASSETTO CORSA follows the new way of Continuous Improvement, and not a continuous profit over little or no improvement like other simulators.

it is very good game, very well playable even on gamepad. Even though the best experience is on wheel.

Still missing quite a few features, but hopefully these will be added later on.
2 biggest pluses for me are officially licensed Ferrari content and official modding capability - which takes this game onto another level

If you do not own this game yet, you will. And if you don't get it in early access, you'll be kicking yourself for a long time.

Assetto Corsa - My personal favorite racing simulator. The only thing that comes close to how fun this game is, is Richard Burns Rally. We're talking incredibly detailed content, a burgeoning modding community and soon to come, the first ever laser-scanned Nurburgring Nordschleife. This game will replace Forza, Gran Turismo, rFactor, Live For Speed once development is completed.

We may not be able to alter the default cars just yet, but I'm damn sure that Kunos will find it in their hearts to work car customization into the game very soon. Community-created vehicles have already been equipped with a primitive customization system. Modification in general is VERY simple. You can edit the files freely. For someone like myself who has no modding experience, I have managed to download all of my favorite tracks and cars with ease. I've also been able to edit the .ini files to customize transmission, suspension and engine files to my liking.

This game will rise to the heights that rFactor and Live For Speed achieved years ago. It will surpass them (in my opinion, it already has) in terms of community involvement.

Whether you love to race, drift or simply drive. This is the game you want.

Overall, Great sim. The feature complete update fixed many problems. Needs more content, but it is worth supporting.

The sound for the Zonda R turned up is really a thing of beauty. Well done!

I've been playing for a little while now and the driving mechanics are awesome. The only reason I bought this game was because of the support for Oculus Rift Dk2 and then came to LOVE AC. I drive the lotus 98T without any driver assists except ABS and it gets my heart pumping and hands start to sweat when racing with others online. In the rift you can really "Feel" the G's as the car goes into a corner or when doing an inertia drift. I play this over Project Cars because of how the cars feel. The lotus 98t is much more manuverable in Assetto Corsa and even sounds awesome with the turbo spooling up and down. If you buy it you wont regret it.

This game is wildly fun and has levels of fun and complexity for virtually any player. The physics in the game are unbelievable, and it's a blast to play. Game is playable with a controller, (not very well in my opinion, I just don't like using my xbox controller) but I use a g27 with the pedals and the H-Shifter. Wildly fun, and still being updated regularly! Patches come quickly and the game developers actually seem to care about their product. If you can get it during the next steam sale (or now if you really want to), PICK THIS UP. There are tons of cars to choose from, many different tracks, and you can tackle the game with any skill level. As of right now, the developers are working on making the AI in the game more suited to race people, as sometimes there are tiny problems in the code causing a few cars to immediately pit and stay there, something or other--don't let this stop you though. The game is still in late alpha and this is to be expected

Tl;dr - Game is still in late alpha, 100% playable. Can be played with a controller, I prefer a wheel. Cars, tracks, general improvements and rebalancing of cars as well as AI are still in progress. Physics are incredible, I've never played something more realistic on steam. PICK UP THIS GAME ASAP IF YOU'RE INTO DRIVING SIMULATORS THAT HAVE REALISTIC PHYSICS AND CAN BE PLAYED BY ANYONE!!!

I do not know where to begin: Assetto Corsa just feels special. From the moment you launch it, going through the beautifully laid out menus, browsing the car & track selections. It all feels special. This team behind this creation truly deserves a standing ovation.

As an avid motorsport racer and fan it makes me happy to know such a game exists.
The realism is truly phenomenal, the controls are bang on and constantly improving. The tire adhesion, feel, sound, graphics, and controls are as good as it gets (wheel).

I am not here to tell you that there could be a larger car selections, more tracks, etc. Such thing comes with time.
What really matters is how this game is coming together, and you can be a part of it now.

This game truly rewards you for driving to the limit and just holding it, or can punish you for overstepping just slightly.
This is what you except from a racing sim. This isn’t need for speed, dirt, or F1 series. And it’s this feeling that makes you feel special. After all, isn’t this what it’s all about?

This is the greatest racing simulator ever made, and I feel that this is only the beginning. The team, and modders are passionate. This passion will only drive the game forward, to new content, new boundaries, and just a better experience for us.

Now get in there and experience this for yourself. You will not be disappointed.
