It's basically a phone or tablet sort of game. Not a lot of mechanics to worry about, touch screen type controls (Works with a mouse, though)
If you've got a phone or tablet, it's not a horrible idea to play this. If you're on a desktop, I'd say don't bother.

The Harvest is a sloppy action RPG, with poor graphics, monotonous levels, enemies, abilities (regardless of which class you play), dry story and many bugs that stop you from progressing. You play one of five robot classes, Earth's best hope to ending an invasion led by aliens who aim to turn all life into cyborg monsters. This game begins to drag almost instantly with objectives that require you to circle the plain maps doing the same wave based instances over and over again. The only decent quality is the customization, and even that becomes stale quickly, and is nothing compared to the customization offered in titles within the same genre. In all, The Harvest is not worth full price, or even a decent sale price. 3/10

The Harvest is a game where you control 5 mechs (not at once) to battle alien cyborgs known as Harvesters. Everything is controled by the mouse, even the mech's abilities. When first starting out, I suggest choosing a mech that fits your playstyle, then moving from there. This does have online co-op, up to 4 players. So you can play with your friends. and this game is only 7$, so you won't break the bank buying this game. It also has high replay value, try a act on a harder difficulty, try and max out one of your mech's levels, different armor and weapon combos.

+ Mechs
+ Loot

- Unchallenging
- Long, boring and uninspired corridors
- Not much level variety in general
- Short (4 'worlds', 3-4 hours of playtime total)

I'd give it a 7/10 at most.

An obvious port from a tablet port, with no work done to translate it to the PC. Controls sluggish and gameplay unsophisticated. Avoid.
