I still enjoyed Glare despite that fact that it does nothing new. 7.8/10.

The game is advertised as having "Full controller support" yet only the buttons on my Logitech F710 work in the game. The analog sticks and D-pad do not work, meaning I can't even move the character. Sad, because the game looks great and I bought it in hopes I'd get to play. This was in December 2013. I've tried playing several times since then, and the game is still broken. If you're the kind of gamer who can play sidescrollers on a keyboard, go for it - don't let this review hold you back. But as a gamer who prefers to sit on the couch with a gamepad, I buy many games that are advertised as having support for controllers. It really sucks when they don't actually have the support they claim to.

Really well put together platformer. Beautiful environments, fun mechanics and good pacing. Overall recommended. Controller support does seem a bit iffy, but keyboard/mouse works great as well.

Short, but very neat platformer that gets progressively more complex as you glide through the beautiful levels. This game is an experience.

I finally started playing a little bit of this tonight. Just beat the second boss. So far this is literallly the most perfect platformer I have ever played. The music is beautiful and soothing and keeps me relaxed through the challenging parts even though I have gotten frustrated a couple times at myself sucking.

I'll have more impressions to share about it in the future I'm sure.

Very simple and fun. Graphics are nice. However, I'm not sure what the hell the story was about.
Got it for free from IGN, so I'm happy with it.

RECOMMENDED.
Beautiful graphics, smooth action.
Very original platformer.
Harder to play with keyboard and mouse but, still good enough.
To don't go frustrated, use a keypad.
For in-between times.

Good game, it have interesting story, good soundtrack and cute hero with weapon and light glare. Game look like develop with Unreal Engine, It's side scrolling platformer in 3D. You can find in game cute enemies and good looking background. Definitely like this game.

Zen. Very zen.

It's kinda sonicish towards the end - lotsa gota go fast stuff, though much easier, with some minor progression (has upgrades, tho they are all simple and unmissable).

Well worth the 0$ I paid for it (thx IGN Prime)

Not sure if it's worth 10 bucks though, given it's litterally about 1 to 1.5 hours long. Maybe 2-3 if your bad at platformers, or possibly under 45min if your very good at them. Definetely worth say 5 tho if its on sale or something, as its a fun hours distraction.

Does have some replay value with some achievements and collectables, but none were very compelling to me, so the 1hr (+30ish min idle time) I gave the game is all its gonna get.

Personally, I found this game quite boring, its like playing Rayman without being able to punch stuff, you just stare a light at things, you have to be quick with the mouse and not get angry when you land in thorns. Out of 10, I have this game a 3.
