Best damn platformer on PC right now. And I don't even really play platformers. Pure fun.

Great game, reminds me of the good old days of Crash Bandicoot. Music levels where the game action was synced to the beat were particularly fun. The only downside I can think of for this game is that they should tell you where checkpoints are and that the swimming levels were particularly difficult with a keyboard, since you can only swim in 8 directions (up, down, left, right, and combining 2 of those actions together). These swimming levels are much easier if played with a gamepad, since it allows omnidirectional control.

Best Co-Op Platformer since forever.

Good controls, great level design, music really drags you in, you can grind Lums for characters from Challenges or replaying old levels, musical stages are awesome.

Yet, some bosses are underwhelming, PC version has some bugs that even re-installing wont fix, and what's the deal of UPlay integration? Whenever I startup the game, it crashes either when starting trough Stream -> UPlay -> Game or just UPlay -> Game, so it might take a while to even get started.

But, it's worth of Co-Op Let's Play.

This bad boy has local co-op, which is excellent. It also has a decent chunk of the game Rayman Origins included as unlockable goodies. It is a solid platformer in the vein of New Super Mario Bros., and the art style and music are both excellent.

One negative is uPlay, but it hasn't ever caused any issues for me.

Definite grab if you're itching for a platformer.

Rayman Legends is quite possibly the best 2d platformer released in the past 10 years.

It’s the follow up title to Rayman Origins (also a great game) and if you missed it, 40 of the stages from Origins have been included in Legends as additional re-mastered content.

It features over 120 different stages each with varying atmosphere, amazing music, and plenty of hidden collectibles. Each of the levels are hand drawn and beautiful to look at. Despite not being overly impressive on a technical level, Rayman uses a timeless style. While games like Crysis 3 probably won’t look that great 10 years from now, Rayman Legends will no doubt retain its charm.

The game also has multiple characters to choose from along with a host of unlockables. There are underwater stealth missions, time trials, and even musical stages where you jump to the rhythm of remixed popular songs. The inclusion of daily and weekly challenges allows you to compete with your friends, adding tons of re-playability.

If you enjoyed classic 2d platformers like Super Mario World and Donkey Kong Country, you should check out Rayman Legends as it’s the closest thing to them in this day and age.
