This game is great! I love the levels where you have to constantly keep moving to the beat of the song playing. Plus, there are so many levels and character options to pick from. If you feel like changing it up a bit, then just go jump into another picture for different types of gameplay.

Good platforming fun. Has great local co-op for up to four people, rotating weekly challenges, and a whole ton of other content. Filled to the brim with good times. The worst thing about this game is U-play, which, for 98% of people, is not problematic at all. If you're in the 2%, this game will suck to play.

Mario ain't got nothing on Rayman Legends. Slamming music, tight controls, eye-bleedingly astounding art direction, 4 player-same-screen-co-op on PC. Show up for the charm and amazing aesthetics. Stay for the super-hard-core platforming action. RESCUE ALL THE TEENSIES!

Hands down one of the most finely crafted platformers I've ever come across. You owe it to yourself to check out Rayman Legends. Just make sure to rebind Murphy's context button. It's horribly placed. =D

However, there's a pretty big asterisk to this review: Like most Ubisoft games, this game requres you to maintain a Ubisoft Uplay account in order to run the game. I don't care, personally, but a lot of people are turned off by draconian DRM measures that Ubi has put in place. Making matters even more confusing, Ubi is evolving Uplay into its own digital distribution platform ala Steam. So it's like Steam-ception. It's a Steam within a Steam, albiet a Steam that is geared towards Ubi's publisher proclivities. So, to recap, you have to download a digitial distribution service through your digital distribution service in order to play the game. Like I said, doesn't bother me, but I know it sure as hell bothers a lot of people.

It adds a lot new levels and a new gameplay mechanic in which every few levels there's a little fairy dude who you can press a button and he'll bop an enemy or open a passage to help you through the level. It has a lot of recycled levels from Rayman Origins, but for some reason they didn't recycle my favorite world, The Land of the Livid Dead, or give us anything in comparison. There's online leaderboards for bragging rights and to help you collect Lums but there's no way Ubisoft is going to convince me to collect 1,000,000 of those guys just to prove to the world that I can. I'm not keen on time trial levels either so once I beat the game and the Living Dead Party world I just dropped the game, I didn't 100% it like I did with Rayman Origins.

The best platforming game on PC and also one of the most fun and inventive games i have played in a long time.
Beautiful graphics, responsive controls and great music.
It's basically Rayman Origins with everything cranked up to 11.

For children of all ages ranging from 8 to 80.

9/10.

Had a ton of fun with this game. Didn't make much use of the multiplayer, but it still felt social. We'd pass the controller around and take turns when one of us got stuck. Great game.

I hadn't bothered with the Rayman series prior to this, but was absolutely blown away by the imaginative level design and high production values Legend offers. It's an impeccably executed game in a genre that should have gotten stale a long time ago.

The fully orchestrated soundtrack works wonders for the atmosphere, and on more than one occasion, the developers capitalize on this and tie the gameplay directly to the rhythm of the underpinning song. These stages are nothing short of genius.

Almost everything about this game, when it comes to platforming terms is perfect. The graphics and gameplay was something to look at and had a much shorter delay time then Gabe newell's lunc-... The HL2 trilogy... Ubisoft outdid themselves once again for making another great recovery from that raving rabbids horror show, that nearly destroyed rayman. However, that logging in to ubisoft garbage was quite annoying and have made access a little more complicated...
Think back to other Rayman greats like Rayman 3: The Hoodlum Havoc or Rayman M. You HAVE the disc, you GOT the disc! You can do anything with it. Except using it as toliet paper like CoD. This game's whimsical structure was quite charming, but could have might had bosses that connects to the story and maybe not always giants. And an actual final boss next time. 9/10

This bad boy has local co-op, which is excellent. It also has a decent chunk of the game Rayman Origins included as unlockable goodies. It is a solid platformer in the vein of New Super Mario Bros., and the art style and music are both excellent.

One negative is uPlay, but it hasn't ever caused any issues for me.

Definite grab if you're itching for a platformer.
