I've never been a rayman fan, but I decided to give Rayman Legends a try. And wow, i must say is one of the best plattform I played on PC. Very responsive, great gfx, excellent sound/music, and every level feels different and innovative. Definitely worth the price!

This game is great! I love the levels where you have to constantly keep moving to the beat of the song playing. Plus, there are so many levels and character options to pick from. If you feel like changing it up a bit, then just go jump into another picture for different types of gameplay.

This is simply the best platform game I've ever played! And I've been playing most Mario titles since the NES.

The gameplay using a Xbox360 controller is tight and challenging. The level design, artwork and music is just... so friggin' awesome and fantastic. And there's a mind boggling amount of it!

Tons of replayability with weekly challenges and what not.

A true MUST HAVE for all fans of the genre.

The best platforming game on PC and also one of the most fun and inventive games i have played in a long time.
Beautiful graphics, responsive controls and great music.
It's basically Rayman Origins with everything cranked up to 11.

For children of all ages ranging from 8 to 80.

9/10.

Fantastic platformer with great visuals, tight controls, good soundtrack and lots of content. Levels are creative and varied. Weekly and daily challenges add even more to the mix.

The only thing I might hold agaist it is the requirement of uplay. It might cause some issues with online content. Get stuffed Ubi. Steam should be enough DRM.

EDIT. Weekly and daily challenges can be quite frustrating due to cheaters. It is a common sight to see people steal the diamond cups with riddiculus results like 9999 lums collected within a minute, or a challange completed in 00:00:00. It would be nice, if Ubisoft would make a sweep every once in a while and ban these people from multiplayer. Come on. Make this DRM uplay do something for players for a change. It probably won't happen.

I love platformer games. They're such a nostalgia blast, taking me back to the old days where I was parked on the living room floor, 5 ft. from the TV trying master that epic double jump without falling in the hole for the 10th time in a row. Rayman Origins came along and proved that that old school platforming action could still be viable, fun and challenging. Now, Rayman Legends has managed to come along and actually improve on the foundation that Origins laid!

Rayman Legends packs a ton of fun in one single package. You have unlocks to collect, in the form of lums, characters, monsters and even old Origins levels. You have challenging platformer action. You have varied platformer action! You have a great sense of humor. You have a great art style to make it all shine. It's really great.

Sometimes, games of these types reach a point where the game becomes too difficult. It makes the experience nothing but frustrating and then the fun falls off fast. Even Origins suffered from this from time to time. In Legends, they've managed to find a perfect balance in the difficulty. Most maps are challenging, without becoming anger inducing. You might have to take two or three tries and a particular jump, but the pattern will click. These types of games can also suffer from repetition, but Legends break that up as well. You'll find the puzzle style changing from level to level, even within the same groups, keeping the game feeling fresh and entertaining.

Beyond all the platformer action, I'm really impressed with the style and art direction going on in the game. The end levels in each section doing something really great in how the tie in the games music with the game play. This really stood out when I was playing a boss level to a Rayman-esque rendition of Ram Jam's "Black Betty". As I came to obstacles, it because clear my jumps were timed to the drum beat of the song. As you progressed, hearing that familiar back beat, you noticed the entire level was timed to it. I couldn't help by smile and play the level over a couple times, just to marvel at the fun of it all. They do this on every level and it's an attention to detail that you don't see to often!

So, should you snag Rayman Legends? Yes. Yes you should. Don't even debate it. Really, this game is worth it at any price. Definitely bring your game pad though, I can't imagine pulling this game off with a keyboard and mouse.

Had a ton of fun with this game. Didn't make much use of the multiplayer, but it still felt social. We'd pass the controller around and take turns when one of us got stuck. Great game.

Ill be honest here. Ubisoft has create some very discouraging factors for players to even buy this game.
It has unnecessary DRM that forces you have installed Uplay and steam at the same time to just play the game. This is a rather rude concept when i speciffically purchaced the game on steam and want to keep and play my games on steam.
A online multiplayer could had made this game a huge hit for many years and instead we get one of their ppl tell as excuse that he likes it local because you cant hit other ppl online... really? I could see a endless line willing to slap him for that.

Still, the developers did manage to safe this game by making it simply amazing from graphic and gameplay to amazing level design.
The game allows you to play also the levels from Rayman origins but has also many bonus mini games that unless you are really bored, you wont probably play those much.

Multiplayer makes most games more fun but doesnt have effect on the whole playtrough so single player is just fine.

Pc controller work fine in my case.

So if you like quality games, you are a rayman fan and can tolerate Ubisofts flaws then the game is definitely worth it

Marvelous game!
It's very challenging but greatly rewarding. It has colorful levels, vivid cartoon characters and sometimes it plays very much to what Sonic games should have been... Fast, fun and coordinated!
It has an almost perfect Music to gamplay rythm, that you'd only expect to see in a Music-Game.
The only negative (in my opinion) is that it relies too much on the "We are having Fun" effects, with levels ending in cheers, clapping, etc, and it worsens the experience because it happens all-the-time...

Overall as a package though, it's amazing.
Get it... It's great!

So far, this is the best local co-op platformer I've ever played. It is beautiful, fun, challenging (the further you play, the more challenging some levels become), has an extremely large amount of levels and other content including daily random challenges with rating and rewards and almost full Rayman Origins. What else would you want from a decent platformer?

Edit: And an awesome soundtrack!

Say what you will about dealing with uPlay (it's deserved)... but Ubisoft's art studios produce PHENOMINAL environments. The light hearted atmosphere and delightful characters are, at least for me, a much needed escape from reality and "try hard" gaming. Rayman Legends, as with its Origins predecessor, achieves a classic sidescroller gameplay that you haven't experienced since the '90s. 10/10.

Good platforming fun. Has great local co-op for up to four people, rotating weekly challenges, and a whole ton of other content. Filled to the brim with good times. The worst thing about this game is U-play, which, for 98% of people, is not problematic at all. If you're in the 2%, this game will suck to play. I had no problems with it, and it continues to be a complete non-problem for me, so I heartily endorse picking this up.
