The art style and superbly executed concept of The Ship: Single Player are a marvel on their own. But with such success in some categories, what goes up must come down in others. The game's difficulty is set on Easy by default, and you can still only survive two hits from another person's melee attack. Firearms are rare and enemies have them too often, which makes finishing off kidnappers or guards a huge pain in the ♥♥♥. There are also too many enemies anywhere you need to go (for instance, to kill someone). The hit-box and combat system are also barely decent; occasionally, even standing against enemies and clicking to swing your Khukri (which is one of the strongest melee weapons in the game with a decent melee range) (or whatever the ♥♥♥♥ you have) sometimes misses. Consecutive attempts miss as well. And then you die, and have to restart the mission again. Getting caught my people who don't look like they have any authority also happens (Nurse in the entrance to the Sickward, thank you for wasting 45 minutes of my time). Don't purchase this unless you either:
a) Are extremely patient
b) Do not anger at all
Purchase the multiplayer, and receive four copies to gift to your friends. It's a lot more fun with friends, anyway.
