I know you're probably thinking "Oh look, another Minecraft spinoff" or "Another stupid copy of Ace of Spades" or "Why buy this when I can just download a gun mod for Minecraft?"
Let me explain a few things.
The only similarities between Guncraft and Minecraft is the word 'craft' in the title, blocky graphics, and some building mechanics. Other than those three things, they are quite different. Minecraft is a open world sandbox game. Guncraft is an multiplayer first-person shooter.
Many people say that Guncraft is a lame knockoff of AoS, but that is not true. There are many differences between them. The biggest difference is the amount of cool things that Guncraft has and AoS does not. Here are just a few of those things: Custom guns, custom melee weapons and tools, custom maps, custom prefabs, custom character skins, hookshots that let you zip around the map, parachutes, vehicles you can drive such as helicopters and hoverbikes, unique gamemodes such as Lava Survival, Meteor Survival, and Paranoia, and awesome devs that listen to the community and constantly improve the game.
Also their are no mods or combination of mods for Minecraft that can give you what Guncraft has to offer.
Guncraft's customization is what really makes it stand out from other shooters. Did you ever want to make that super cool high-tech ninja class equipped with dual laser guns, a hookshot, an epic katana, and proximity mines? Guncraft gives you the ability to do that. :)
The only negative thing about Guncraft that I can think of is the lack of players, but in time, I'm sure more people will start playing.
Overall, Guncraft is an enjoyable and unique shooter that lets you be creative.
