You remember well what you have done in your dream, what happend, who was there and what was your goal or desire. Yes, but WHEN you have woke up? When you have crossed the barrier? How you have entered that world and why it often ends in some sort of tragedy, that pushes you out? The only thing that left are memories of dream. Shattered memories, Haunted Memories.

Now you have a chance to visit this haunted realm consciously, but you have to be warned. Remember – once entered, can’t be left. To the very end of your sanity, all six episodes of Haunted Memories are going to show you that sometimes darkness leads to light.

What a waste of my time. If I had known this was just another slender game, I wouldn't have even bothered with it. I have to thank the trailer for that, which looks really promising and DOESN'T have any signs of slender in it... You know, the ENTIRE FOCUS of the game? The music in the trailer was clearly influenced by the Silent Hill 2 OST, which is another reason I tried it out. So I go into the game and the main menu gives off a Alan Wake vibe. Real nice. Once the game started I was introduced to a nameless man with bad voice acting and clunky animations (I brushed those off, this being a free indie game after all). I walk to a car and pick up a flashlight that gives me a nice two inches of light and a map that gives me no indication of where I am. I pick up a fuel tank and some batteries for the flashlight and walk to a fence. I open it and slender greets me with his signature bass boom that's supposed to scare you (it doesn't). As soon as I saw him, that explained everything. The bad voice acting and animations, the slow walking and heavy breathing, the flashlight and horrible map. This was going to be a bad game, but I thought I would give it a try anyways. Little did I know there was supposedly (according to all of the NEGATIVE reviews...) a crowbar that I was supposed to pick up. I didn't. So I spent the next twenty minutes or so wandering around a forest with broken down cars and a lot of locked fences (???). Slender stalks you of course, with all of his non-scary bass boom and non-scary over-the-top looks. Where is the the great music? All you hear is a repetitive bass boom, even when slender isn't in view. Where's the creepy looking monsters the trailer promised (and no, slender isn't scary)? I got so bored wandering around, I tried to see if I could walk past slender without looking at him. I died and was sent back to the main menu. I thought, "Thank God, a way out." So I took it, and never looked back. Don't play this if you're looking for something scary. It will save you thirty minutes of your time.

This game is literally too buggy to enjoy, and doesn't look like it will be fixed anytime soon. Only Episode 1 remains (there was supposed to be 6 episodes but the company was bought out) and it is dreadful. I jump on a barrel and drop 1 foot down? "You fell to death." I walk up the stairs and get stuck in the bannister? "You fell to death." I can't count how many times I have fallen to death or clipped through walls in this game.

Since this game is free it's hard to hate it much. The graphics are good, and the monster definitely terrorizes you properly. Ignoring the bugs another thing I disliked was the weapons. They give you a gun... who gives you a gun in a Slender game? Not recommended.

Introduction :
The game follows the basic premise of the original Slender: The Eight Pages game but adds a vast number of new elements including a written story, graphics overhaul, NPCs, difficulty settings, etc.

(+)Graphics :
Graphics are like oddly beautiful . Especially the lightning is better than ever .

(+)Music :
There is only one soundtrack at the end of the game , it's honestly beautiful . Check it out it's all over the community discussions and youtube .

(?)Goal in game :
Try to collect pages , don't ♥♥♥♥ your pants . 10/10

(-)Gameplay :
Aahh .. Here comes the part where it all comes down . Even tho the graphics are great , the gameplay is horrible. There are way too many glitches and bugs . I mean come on ! You try to jump on a damn barrel and you " Fell to your death " .. Seriously ?!?

In all honesty if you can ignore the glitches and the bugs go ahead and give it a go . But i really don't believe anyone can have that kind of a patience

Ok here's the deal, this game looked good at first. Good atmosphere is something i love in games. The crappy slender ripoff didn't bother me because of the atmo in the game. The crappy fights didn't bother me either. If nothing else this game has atmosphere. So why am i NOT recommending it u ask? The warp ♥♥♥♥ that the "brilliant" devs put in. Every now and then you'll "warp" to a random point (relatively nearby where you just were). At first this didn't bother me. HOWEVER, after trying to get the axe 5 times, no ♥♥♥♥ 5 times i counted, which is at the top of a long ♥♥♥ cliff that you must walk up a winding path to get to i had to quit. Why did i quit after 5 tries to get an axe? Not because of the monsters, oh no, i was warped each time to the beggining of the cliff. the 5th time all i had to do was press "E" to grab it and before i could..... WARP. ♥♥♥♥ the devs, if they can take out the damn warp ♥♥♥♥ this game might be a 6/10 for me, but right now i give it a 0/10. RAGE QUIT!

Fell into a hole and got stuck there for 10 minutes before he finally decided to "fall into his death". When I loaded my save the game decided to take LSD and look greenish blueish like a third dimension. Nothing worked there; could not open doors, pick up anything or even leave the game. Trying to leave only sent me to an endless loop of are you sure you want to leave.
I finally gave up and stood watching while my character's arms rotated endlessly in the void. Ultimately I decided to end his pain and killed the game process.

Overall it is not a good experience. I know it's Halloween but the game is really a hell to play.

I thought I'd try it.
All I encountered were locked doors, lots of panting, oh, and I "Fell To My Death" when I jumped on a table and walked off.

This game would have had good potential if it weren't for the constant glitches and bugs.

I covered this a few years ago when it was named "Haunt: The Real Slender Game". The game has changed a bit as you're no longer collecting a certain number of pages, but rather are tasked with completing puzzles in the appropriate order. Some of the landmarks like the bunker and lighthouse exist, though are admittedly a bit different in design. I prefered the older build in all honesty. The game is free so give it a whirl if you enjoy emersing yourself in creepy environments...just don't expect a bug-free experience.

This is one of those games that taught us all about the risks of buying into early access...I wanted to support these developers along with a few too many others *cough*Starbound-rust*cough*...My point is not that these are terrible games at all. Some of them are good for a little while & for the right price along w/ honest devs who didn't just take the money and run(and buy a dog =P ) they could have been fun little indie titles that made enough to allow a developing company the ability to branch out. Instead we all got a hard lesson on how easily it is to take advantage of dreamers and/or how easily greed clouds the human judgement. Anyway I hope that gamers have learned enough by now not to buy into an early access no matter how amazing the promise and accolades otherwise this will just continue and indie games that use to be the last beating heart of the PC gaming world may cease...

Dear god, I honestly have only played this game for about 5 minutes and I can tell it's terrible. The character moves like an 80 year old man with arthritis, and even the slightest movement sends this guys head wobbling like a freaking bobblehead toy. The mouse movement is god awful too, theres a giant delay in the motion between moving the mouse and the screen, badly breaking the immersion, and looking around is clunky, wanna look down to the left? Well the character will spin at mach 5 and when you try to look down it moves at the pace of a turtle. The flashlight is far off I can't even see anything I try to look at. If you like nauseating whiplash, inconsistent audio, and movement that makes the Big Daddies of Bioshock look like olympic speed-runners then this game is for you.

I only played for a few minutes before getting so bored I had to stop. You awaken in a dark, wooded area, with no idea how you got there and frankly no idea why you should care. Even with a map function, trudging through a dark, featureless area, with no idea what your ultimate objective even is and no idea where to go next gets very old very fast. There's also some English errors, though that's a minor issue.

Start game; walk around for 10 minutes; bad guy appears out of nowhere; instant "game over". I agree with the game's assesment and uninstall it.

The Trailer really had me excited to get this game, but the actual gameplay itself is bad. The Flashlight is useless, and the lighting around the hole map looked like grease smudged all over the screen. I know I can't do any better than this, but I give some points to the creator of this game for atleast trying to make a game. Also the game itself is just another cheap rip-off of Slender. Not to mention how high you jump. (maybe you're a rabbit in disguise) I also noticed while playing that I bunny-jumped on the fencing near the high spiral staircase and I then got my-self stuck (happened twice) and I suddenly glitched out of the fencing and fell back on to the ground and "died" (I was very close to the ground). It said "You fell to your death", and I gotta say, not too good but it's okay.

First and foremost, I really dig what this game is trying to accomplish. I love the way the movement feels, almost natural, but as if my arms have suffered severe fractures. The graphics are meh. Kind of cool, smooth and some interesting lighting, but since this game is so dark, I bet if any light were to be introduced, you'd find yourself in a very medioce, very muddy looking game. I got stuck on things alot and had to quit, I fell from a 1 foot fence and died to my death...and I wasn't really sure what the hell to do...I will probably get more into it when I have time to waste, but for now, a little bit of a story or intsructions would be nice... oh and make the batteries real time and last a while... thanks.

After running around and not seeing anything i eventually found a crowbar, fought a creature but i have no way of seeing my health so i wasnt scared of dying. Within 2 minutes after that some music played, my screen flashed, something ran up on me and it was instant game over. Nothing really to collect or interact with except some flashlight batteries. I haven't played much of this game because after 20 minutes of nothing happening I figured I had gotten my moneys worth. Get it, cuz it's free?

I do not recommend this game.... Maybe I was playing it wrong, but I'm not sure how someone could play a game like this wrong 0.o I couldn't really figure out where I was going, and when I found out, I somehow bugged through the entire game and screwed everything up. It happened more than once. Many glitches.
