About This Game

Every time we wake up on the other side we have a small chance of falling in to never ending dream. Honestly – which side is the true one? We wake up in our beds, but is it possible to remember second awakening?

You remember well what you have done in your dream, what happend, who was there and what was your goal or desire. Yes, but WHEN you have woke up? When you have crossed the barrier? How you have entered that world and why it often ends in some sort of tragedy, that pushes you out? The only thing that left are memories of dream. Shattered memories, Haunted Memories.

Now you have a chance to visit this haunted realm consciously, but you have to be warned. Remember – once entered, can’t be left. To the very end of your sanity, all six episodes of Haunted Memories are going to show you that sometimes darkness leads to light.

I enjoyed the game although I was only able to play to a certain extent due to the availability of content at the time. The graphics of this game are pretty decent and will compare to most high-graphics games. The downside of this game in my opinion is the unpolished movement and slightly irritable items menu where things will still be able to get you while you're looking in your map(I don't know if changed since when I played). But it's a free game, and this game easily surpasses other games you must buy. I do believe this is a nice and worthy download.

What a waste of my time. If I had known this was just another slender game, I wouldn't have even bothered with it. I have to thank the trailer for that, which looks really promising and DOESN'T have any signs of slender in it... You know, the ENTIRE FOCUS of the game? The music in the trailer was clearly influenced by the Silent Hill 2 OST, which is another reason I tried it out. So I go into the game and the main menu gives off a Alan Wake vibe. Real nice. Once the game started I was introduced to a nameless man with bad voice acting and clunky animations (I brushed those off, this being a free indie game after all). I walk to a car and pick up a flashlight that gives me a nice two inches of light and a map that gives me no indication of where I am. I pick up a fuel tank and some batteries for the flashlight and walk to a fence. I open it and slender greets me with his signature bass boom that's supposed to scare you (it doesn't). As soon as I saw him, that explained everything. The bad voice acting and animations, the slow walking and heavy breathing, the flashlight and horrible map. This was going to be a bad game, but I thought I would give it a try anyways. Little did I know there was supposedly (according to all of the NEGATIVE reviews...) a crowbar that I was supposed to pick up. I didn't. So I spent the next twenty minutes or so wandering around a forest with broken down cars and a lot of locked fences (???). Slender stalks you of course, with all of his non-scary bass boom and non-scary over-the-top looks. Where is the the great music? All you hear is a repetitive bass boom, even when slender isn't in view. Where's the creepy looking monsters the trailer promised (and no, slender isn't scary)? I got so bored wandering around, I tried to see if I could walk past slender without looking at him. I died and was sent back to the main menu. I thought, "Thank God, a way out." So I took it, and never looked back. Don't play this if you're looking for something scary. It will save you thirty minutes of your time.

Ok here's the deal, this game looked good at first. Good atmosphere is something i love in games. The crappy slender ripoff didn't bother me because of the atmo in the game. The crappy fights didn't bother me either. If nothing else this game has atmosphere. So why am i NOT recommending it u ask? The warp ♥♥♥♥ that the "brilliant" devs put in. Every now and then you'll "warp" to a random point (relatively nearby where you just were). At first this didn't bother me. HOWEVER, after trying to get the axe 5 times, no ♥♥♥♥ 5 times i counted, which is at the top of a long ♥♥♥ cliff that you must walk up a winding path to get to i had to quit. Why did i quit after 5 tries to get an axe? Not because of the monsters, oh no, i was warped each time to the beggining of the cliff. the 5th time all i had to do was press "E" to grab it and before i could..... WARP. ♥♥♥♥ the devs, if they can take out the damn warp ♥♥♥♥ this game might be a 6/10 for me, but right now i give it a 0/10. RAGE QUIT!

Although this game has some really nice graphics and interesting setting in forest and some abandoned establishments, it lacks any horror aspect to it.

It is just another Slenderman clone and that is always bad sign... Slenderman itself was really borring and this piece is maybe even worse.

I would not even call it a horror game, it is much more like really annoying adventure where you wander around and see nothing in the dark. The biggest problem here is the flashlight that really does not work, like when you try to light up posters - they reflect the light so hard you can barely see what is written there. Bloom effect is really intense so it makes it even worse.

I played quite a lot horror games, paid or free. And I must say this one is on of the worst. There is no point playing this. Only if you like aimlessly walking around some godforsaken woods. What a letdown.

sad name, bad game. would pay to have this removed. decent graphics but horrible game play. sprint just walks faster, flashlight runs out of battery in 3 minutes (tops), this thing comes out of nowhere and it simply says game over. ya no kidding, game over

In a world where batteries last 2 minutes and spiral staircases go on for days...
One faceless reptile-alien will horrify you...
Until he gets bored or you turn around.

And there is only one man;
One Asthmatic with the skills to defeat him.
Skills such as being able to traverse 4 steps in a single stride, speak only in expositional monologue, and survive multiple episodes of Cardiac Dysrhythmia.
