About This Game

Every time we wake up on the other side we have a small chance of falling in to never ending dream. Honestly – which side is the true one? We wake up in our beds, but is it possible to remember second awakening?

You remember well what you have done in your dream, what happend, who was there and what was your goal or desire. Yes, but WHEN you have woke up? When you have crossed the barrier? How you have entered that world and why it often ends in some sort of tragedy, that pushes you out? The only thing that left are memories of dream. Shattered memories, Haunted Memories.

Now you have a chance to visit this haunted realm consciously, but you have to be warned. Remember – once entered, can’t be left. To the very end of your sanity, all six episodes of Haunted Memories are going to show you that sometimes darkness leads to light.

"Haunted Memories” series covers following episodes:

Well, I tried this out once when it first was released, and again the other day. each time, I was hoping it would be the kind of game to brag about. I mean, it looks cool and sounds like a great premise for a game, plus the first episode is free, so there really isn't any reason NOT to try it out. However, what I found both times was a lackluster game that left me disappointed.

Basically, you walk around a lot without much of anything going on. When you first start the game, you wake up face down in the dirt, disoriented and lost. You find a car running with nobody there. On the hood is a flashlight and your first clue that not all is right here. You also find a gas can that will be used later. After that, you actually enter the park itself, where you immediately see a shadowy figure through a flash of lightning, which then promptly disappears. You then begin the arduous task of searching the park in hope of finding out why you are there.

Sadly, from that moment on, the game is drudgery when you aren't dying due to stupid physics (such as getting stuck on a rock, jumping off of it, only to have the game tell you that you committed suicide, lol (for which you get a cheevo)) or being killed by the no longer shadowy creature. Dying, as far as I got into the game, means restarting from the beginning.

The graphics are also not top tier. In fact, they bleed together a lot making things indistinct. This may have been intentional on the developers part, but it doesn't really work. Also, where there aren't some lights or flashes of lightning from the storm persisting in the game, it is dark as hell, and your flashlight is probably the crappiest one known to man. I took a couple screenshots that show the same scene with and without the flashlight. The difference isn't notable enough for the flashlight to be worth your time. better to just stumble through the dark without it since it doesn't really light much up anyway, and eventually will die on you as well, lol.

All told, I give this game a 3 out of 10. There is some promise there, but it fails badly. You will want to love the game, but most likely will delete it in disappointment.

If youve never played a Slender game before, you might get a kick out of this. If you arent someone who enjoys walking around aimlessly for hours, trying to figure a game out or looking up a guide, DONT PLAY THIS GAME !!! Would definetly NOT recomend but as it is free, it cant do any harm. Worst case scenario : you find out you absoloutly hate this game and have wasted 2 hours of your life - ( If your already that bored that you played this game for 2 hours before you realized its pretty mediocre then.... You probably wouldnt have done anything better with that time anyway )

Well, to start this I will say that the gameplay is extremely slow and is a re-hashed slender game that isnt as creepy and does a poor job of creating a storyline followable by the player. In my experience of this game, it seems as if the developers were trying to experiment with how dark they could possibly make a game before it wasn't visible to the human eye, and simply added an agravating blue-ish glow so that it wasn't impossible to find the pathways around the map. In addition to this, the animation quality of the slenderman creature is honestly more poor than the original Slender: The Eight Pages which was free as well. To anyone who is reading this I highly recommend looking somewhere else for a good free horror game because this wasn't even fun in the least, let alone creepy or ambient. I know it looks promising in the trailer but I can assure you that this is not worth anyone's time.
