I personally find the system requirements too high, they made it too flashy. As far as I could tell, it was an attempt at making a quality spin-off of Slender. I had to turn off some of the graphical settings in order to run the game (I didn't turn them down that much), and when I got into the game, it looked horrible. I couldn't tell where the trails were because the textures were so mushy, so I ended up going out of, what I assume, was the game's boundaries, and I got stuck on a fence.
As I was playing, my frame-rate dropped and there was a delay. I couldn't figure out the controls while in-game, so I had to exit from playing the game and go to the separate main menu in order to look at them (it was hard to find the controls in the first place because the over-detailed menu background), then re-enter the game afterwards.
I also found that if you jump forward continuously, instead of walking, you go faster. Also, the jump height is ridiculous, I scaled a mountain when I was unable to find anything of importance to the game's storyline. I'm not sure about this, but I suppose you need over four batteries to work the SMALL flashlight with any sort of effeciency. When I used the first two batteries you find, it didn't turn on. When I found two more batteries, I could just barely see an illuminated area in the general area I was facing.
The glares are annoying, the amount of detail is disorienting, but the barrels are fun to push around.
Barrels are the best part of the beginning, in my opinion.
