About This Content

Chivalry: Deadliest Warrior is a massive expansion pack for the best First-Person Slasher, Chivalry: Medieval Warfare. Featuring competitive online combat that seeks to capture the experience of truly being on a medieval battlefield. Inspired from the intensity and epicness of swordfighting movies such as 300, Gladiator and Braveheart, Chivalry: Medieval Warfare aims to bring that experience to the hands of a gamer.

And now Chivalry: Deadliest Warrior will bring the most iconic warriors from the ancient world, epic new environments and all new game modes to the already expansive base game content.

Every environment is an iconic homeland of one of the warrior factions. Fight in ancient Greek temples, kicking people into pits as a Spartan or run along moonlit roofs as a Ninja in a bamboo forest. Who is the DEADLIEST WARRIOR? Its time for YOU to decide.

Key Features:

  • All new classes including: Samurais, Spartans, Vikings, Knights, Ninjas and Pirates
  • Faster, more diverse game play makes Chivalry 1st person melee combat even more intense
  • Each warrior has a unique arsenal and abilities, which promotes more variety in play styles and forces players to adapt their strategy to the situation.

I have had even more fun with this DLC than the base game, and I have experienced none of the problems that many other have mentioned in their reviews. The following is a short list of some complaints that I have noticed in negative reviews:

The game runs smoothly at 60 fps, and I rarely get frame rate drops.

Abandoned Servers
I was able to find a populated server immediatey, and every server I joined subsequently had lots of players.

The graphics in this game are, in my opinion, vastly improved from the original. I can now play in much higher resolution than the base game allowed. Overall, it is much prettier.

I don't know what all the fuss is about. I love all of the classes and I don't think any of them are overpowered. It is fun to experiment as each class and unlock new weapons as you rank up. I was having so much fun playing as pirate that before I knew it I had unlocked every weapon.

Overall, this DLC is great fun and I highly recommend it.

10/10 just for the Spartan battle cry: Tonight we dine in Hades!!! 10/10 would recommend dinner with Hades

On a more serious note, I can't really see why people are complaining. This game runs smoothly even on my laptop and the different classes are so much fun! I grew more fond to this than the base game (I enjoy TDM more than other game modes) and play it even more. Try it guys (preferably during a sale)

I used to really like this when it had more players. Things have changed.
Of the classes, most are somewhat balanced. The Pirate has no defensive capabilities and no armor, so if you get close he is stuck to little low damage weapons. The ninja is quick but also armorless, one good hit will kill him. He also has no real ranged capability. The samurai has strong melee capability and is a little slower than the night, but has less damage and armor along with a lack of a shield making ranged his weakness. The knight is slow as hell and armored, with good defense.

And then we come to the "Problem Classes". Spartan has very strong ranged capability. The Javelins kill in one hit on the smaller classes and two hit on the more armored types. They have swords with good range and very high damage. They also have shields at all times that protect them from any ranged attack (including bullets). They also get an enormous spear that has the longest melee range in the game, not to mention they also get medium armor protection. Their gameplay consists of hiding behind a shield and doing somewhat unfair damage.

But the worst of all is the Viking class, the class that arguably ruined the DLC for everyone. The Vikings have the second best armor in the game without the speed loss that others suffer, you will not likely ever one hit them with a melee weapon. They also have shields, so they have complete defense against all ranged attacks. Speaking of ranged attacks, they are able to throw and pick back up every single item they have. Axes, swords, shields, etc. And it does DAMAGE. They also are able to dual wield their weapons, and every consecutive swing gives a boost to the speed of said swings. Did I also mention that they have spears and poleaxes?

In conclusion this class is very strong in every single aspect. They have armor, they have ranged that never runs out of ammo, they have shields to protect them from ranged, they have a swing speed boost that promotes spamming, they have dual wielding, they have decent speed, and they have long ranged melee weapons as well. They have everything that any other class calls a "specialty".

Most people who liked other classes have stopped playing. In most games I join there are new players playing the balanced classes and usually about 4 or so level 40+ vikings slaughtering everyone. The debuffing that needs to be done is so astronomical, they might as well just remove the class entirely. I'm so salty over this, you can't even believe.
