About This Content

Chivalry: Deadliest Warrior is a massive expansion pack for the best First-Person Slasher, Chivalry: Medieval Warfare. Featuring competitive online combat that seeks to capture the experience of truly being on a medieval battlefield. Inspired from the intensity and epicness of swordfighting movies such as 300, Gladiator and Braveheart, Chivalry: Medieval Warfare aims to bring that experience to the hands of a gamer.

And now Chivalry: Deadliest Warrior will bring the most iconic warriors from the ancient world, epic new environments and all new game modes to the already expansive base game content.

Every environment is an iconic homeland of one of the warrior factions. Fight in ancient Greek temples, kicking people into pits as a Spartan or run along moonlit roofs as a Ninja in a bamboo forest. Who is the DEADLIEST WARRIOR? Its time for YOU to decide.

Key Features:

  • All new classes including: Samurais, Spartans, Vikings, Knights, Ninjas and Pirates
  • Faster, more diverse game play makes Chivalry 1st person melee combat even more intense

Now to make myself clear I think the base game is phenomenal, however when I picked this DLC up I was highly dissapointed to find choppy graphics right off the bat. I figured the gameplay would be just as fun as the base game, however I found it to be a signifgant step down with an unbalanced array of classes and fairly limiting game types. Fortunately I got this on sale so the hurt is much less. I do however highly reccomend the base game as it is some of the most fun I have had in ages.

Chivarly is an awesome game, but however this DLC is unbalanced and abandoned by the developers.
Ignore this and buy the main game.

Today i found out that Torn Banner Studios are lazy. This game shouldn't be a DLC. This is so badly optimized, gaming laptops can hardly run it. It's always 5-10 fps. The problem is that Nvidia/AMD doesn't reconize Deadliest Warriors has a game, since it's a DLC. This is one of the reasons why i dislike the game.

The other one is that THIS GAME IS ABANDONNED! Torn Banner Studios are SOOOO lazy they forgive about this and prefer adding microtransaction (hats) to Medieval Warfare. Really? Chivalry is way more enjoyable to play since the hud is better done (The cursor is changing color when you hit/miss an ennemy) and way more enjoyable. The game have no mission maps. The character selection is poorly made.

My idea is to make this game a Stand Alone. All Deadliest Warrior owners will got a Chivalry: Deadliest Warrior game in his library. Nvidia/AMD will then reconized it has a SEPARATE game (It will have his own .exe launcher) and we will finally be all able to enjoy it.

Please like this so Torn Banner can see it. This REALLY NEED to be done

I love Chivalry: Medieval Warfare, but this DLC just isn't worth it. There are no maps. No team objective gamemode, unbalanced classes, and it shares the same unlock/leveling up bugs as the old Chivalry game had.
It is maybe fun your first game, but then you realise how poorly made it is. 4/10. I would maybe get it if it was two dollars.

Do not buy.
The original game had a consistent setting and team missions.
Those were the best features (apart from being mostly melee combat focused).
This DLC takes away what was best and adds random elements (so it seems).
There are no team objective missions, the setting is not consisten etc.
No fun to play.

CHIVALRY: DEADLIEST WARRIOR

This game is a great DLC for the already amazing Medieval Fighting Game, Chivarly : Medieval Warfare

Pros:
- Extremely Fun
- Fun and different combat
- Different maps
- Amazing classes
- Good customization
- Still alive! Very good community still!
Cons:
- Abondoned by the devolopers due to it being ' too glitchy ' ( A little but not too much :D )
- OP Spartans
- OP Spartan throwing spear
- Ninja's thrust attack, very strong

Overall, this DLC is frustrating, but is very, very fun.
When you first pick it up after playing Chivarly : Medieval Warfare, the combat will seem different, due to there being many classes to fight against. You WILL get used to it :D

My score 8/10!

This tide me over to buy chivary in the first place. as of right now it seems it is abandoned, but it is way more fun then chivalry itself. I may have played 5 mins of mideval warfare. 99% of the time spent on chivalry is in deadliest warrior. If your not sure if you want the game and want to know more about it. I suggest you go wacth the polaris tournment, its how I heard of this. This is one of my all time favorite games btw.

One of my favourite games, I prefer the balance and variety of the classes in this game over Medieval warfare, but I have a couple of things I wish they fixed.

1. the updates. Since the release of this game it has had very little attention from the developers. It seems like they just used it to keep the main game funded, lots of content has come out for the main game while some game breaking bugs still exist in this mod

2. The maps, it really needs some more maps, the main game has siege modes and small duel maps, while the variety of the maps in this game is great it really needed an arena style map and objective style maps.

Besides these gripes it's an incredible game I just don't seem to get bored of, I just wish there was a larger community but it's small because of the reasons above. I've had some incredible team fights in this game, the skirmishes seem to last longer and be less assist train than "everything's a oneshot" medieval warfare.

I don't write reviews much,
but seeing as there is so much unwarranted ♥♥♥♥♥ing about this game I felt obligated.
Chivalry medieval Warfare was a great game,
but I find myself playing much more of Deadliest warrior.
It's way more fast paced,
and the fact that they give you the option to play some of histories greatest warrior classes
makes this a far more gratifying experience opposed to it's predecessor.

Pros:

-Can play as Knight, Ninja, Pirate, Spartan, Samurai and Viking
-More costume unlocks
-faster game pace
-better weapons

Cons:

-Not enough players
-Community can be better, (but don't expect much from a game this violent)
-Buggy/laggy at times. no more or less than the original
-level design can be better

Overall 8/10 fun and addicting melee/range combat that gets more rewarding the better you get.

To you, the person reading reviews before buying this DLC to Chivalry, don't listen to anyone who complains about this game not being fun or interesting. There are some bugs in the game, I know this from experience, but most people who are complaining about this game play Chivalry for the competitive aspect, not for fun. Anyone playing Chivalry for fun and excitment will love this DLC, there are a lack of gamemodes and maps but hey, its DLC not a full game. Sure the developers could spend some more time on this game but as it is it will provide you hours of fun and any time you watch a movie themed around sword fighting or mideval times, you will want to come back to Chivalry.
