Way too long since Solstice Arena isn't updated. There is a combination of champions that you can't lose with. And i really want Zynga to fix this. I waited for 7 months (and even more, i think) and still nobody didn't lift a finger. Well, i had a lot of fun with my two brothers, playing together, but now is almost unenjoyable, if you play as a premade team: you'll always fight against the undefeatable trio, and I DON'T WANT TO BE FORCED TO PLAY WHAT IS MADE TO WIN, but just play to have fun and win for skill.
But it is impossible, due to the combo of Helios, Lizeth and Kira.

Good game but it needs updates ( new maps, champions ) cause it's boring to play always with the same things..
Also it doesn't have chat so the communication between the players is weak.. You can only ping..
7/10 :)

I would rather play a Dora the Explorer or Bob the Builder MOBA, than this thing. There is no communication whatsoever and the people in it can't grasp the simplest concepts. The game is mindnumbingly easy when you play with friends, and next to impossible with randoms. The only credit I will give to this game is that you can try any combination of items on characters which is nice.

10/10 IGN i cri evry tiem

I've played the game for about 20 hours now, which isn't a lot, but I just had to make this review. I've enjoyed the game so so much, considering I have played many many MOBA's and the reasons for disliking them is due to they either were to complicated to get into, or they were good, but had hardly any Australian players for me to be able to play with without lag. But what I've noticed with Solstice Arena, is that, even though I lag a little bit in the game, like, it takes half a second to a second to actually move when I click, or use an ability. This CAN be irritating, but I've gotten used to it over these 20 hours. I'm in love with a lot of the heroes in the game as they are all quite simple and fun to use. My personal favourite so far, would have to be Marco. Being able to sit back and poke at enemies, before lunging upon them when they hit low health, is just insanely fun. Not to mention, upgrading his abilities in order to cause more damage, is just even better. Any ways, overall if you haven't already checked out Solstice Arena, and you're looking for a good and simplified MOBA to play in your spare time, check it out, you won't regret it.

The one downer with the game is the fact that Zynga no longer updates the game with new heroes, ect. Although I have contacted a developer of Solstice Arena and I am awaiting a reply on the reason for Zynga's silence on this terrific game.

Well, the best way to describe Solstice is as a beginner's moba. Unlike LoL or Dota 2, the standard game mode in Solstice is a 3 vs. 3, 1 lane match that lasts about 10 minutes. Items that you can purchase are very simple, such as swords that increase damage, armor that increases health, etc. etc. and you won't need to watch tons of youtube videos to figure out the best builds for you. While I do still prefer LoL, this is a great game that I would definitely recommend to someone that wants to learn the very basics of the moba genre.

One day, Mark Zuckerjerk said to some of the unpaid interns at Zynga: "I need one of those crappy games that make money again, this League thing is going hot and I want in on it. Your budget is 200$" and the next day, Solstice Arena was born.

Also, you can't just quit the game. You need to force it to quit.

Speed MOBA applies to the short and boring games. The controls are clunky and the game pace is so terribly slow you need to tune your mouse down.

An intresting approach to a fast paced MOBA game. Was fun to play on first couple of weeks, but no improvements on game and poor number of hero types is quite boring to keep playing.

It's fun, much simpler than the other MOBA.
Pros and Cons :
1. Using Oceania server in the prime time i've only waited for 5-10 seconds, and the longest time i've been waited for 2-3 mins.
2. Fast pace playing (approx 5-15 mins in a round).
3. Balanced characters. (No IMBA char)
4. Growing community.
5. Even newbie player can be god-like.

I'd give this game a 8/10 on the hillbilly scale

What I Like:
*Fast paced games (5-15mins and your done usually more around the 8-10minute mark)
*Waiting time (i play all hours of the day and a game takes me from 5 seconds to 1 minute to get into)
*A ton of action, from the first fight you will be attackin someone like every 30 seconds
*Strategy, its not the LoL strategy and dota2 intense but you still need some strategy zerging doesn't always wion
*Teamwork, a good team will always win if your team connects even if 1 person is afk you can still pull out a win
*Balance, every hero has atleast 1 other that will beat them sometimes more
*Always something new happening in a game you don't expect

What I dislike:
*Some people are resource hogs, meaning they will take everything from iron to sun and leave nothing for anyone else
*Afk's doesn't happen much if you play ranked enough but when it does you just wnt to surrender
*low level play is boring, you'll just get assisns trying to tank, tanks thinking they are assasins, it just gets old

Overall:
This is a fun game you just have to increase your play skill to get to the fun zone where most people know what they are doin'. they hardest part is figuring out which hero is suited towards your play style. and as long as yo have a understanding of this game you can come out of your first pvp ranked match 10-0 which is fairly easy in low level play

Zynga has created a good game that has the feel as Dota and other Moba games. one round 5- to 15-minute spurts rather than taking the better part of an hour. This is the first speed moba!
Solstice Arena is a 3vs3 battle with the final goal of destroying the enemy base. Each is guarded by three towers. gold is earned through pickup style power-ups and a single capturable chest in the middle of the map.
You must control the middle of the map to capture the chest through a channeling that slowly turns the chest toward your side. That channel can be interrupted by the enemy.

Skills in Solstice Arena have only one casting resource: cooldowns. no waiting for your mana. That moment is ready and waiting when all three of your abilities are off cooldown. The action is constant, and in the 10 minutes it takes to play a match.
You can purchase items from the spawn. you're given a choice of head items, accessory, off-hand, weapons, boots, and body armor and you can carry only one of each. each item has three base choices that can be upgraded into three final. each with a different passive that can improve your character's fighting potential.
there are 5 elements in the game. you have to find the perfect combination to maximize their potential. the attributes are tied to a stat as attack damage, movement speed, cooldown reduction, attack speed, or defense. you can pick up attributes that spawn as power-ups around the map.

Towers only shoot while a player is alive. If an entire enemy team is dead, their towers won't fight back. As the game goes on and respawn times get longer, this game become more dangerous, and a full whipe at the wrong time could be your end.
With only 25 heroes (more heroes come with updates) and steep costs to unlock them, things become a longer play sessions. You see many of the same groups of faces over and over your games. Zynga gives a fair helping of heroes in a free trial , the free trial refreshes every few days.
You can pay with real money or fight a lot of matches and unlock the heroes. you dont NEED pay real money!

Fortunately, character designs are all quite different from one another, and each hero has a unique style. Whether that style involves playing from the back lines as a high-powered mage of the sun, or turning to stone and spinning through the ranks of your foes, or throwing down a music box to pacify your foes while you spin around healing your teammates, heroes have signature abilities, and there don't yet appear to be redundancies among them. Each ability can be upgraded between games, as winning (or participating) earns experience for that hero. Each skill has three different paths that can be upgraded, but only two may be selected for the five additional skill points put into each skill. You can use these upgrades to suit your gameplay whims, whether that means making areas of effect larger, making stun durations longer, or just making skills pack a bigger wallop when you connect with an enemy.

This game is cross-platform with iOS and Mac. The three platforms integrated with one another, at any your teammates could playing on an iPhone or Mac while you sit at your computer. Sitting in the city and play with your iphone.
There is no chat function in-game. No players who scream, flame or talking ♥♥♥♥. The only form of communication is a single ping every few seconds.
The short encounters and matches make for a lack of depth in the game. With the upgradable abilities and the perks on each tier-three item, there are many item builds upon the opponent's composition.

Solstice Arena is a great and fast moba game. Quick matches and balanced heroes. Overall, I really enjoyed this game.
