Infinity Gets Another Upgrade!

We've got more additions to the Infinite Pack. This time it's the Nurse Reverse, which will be bundled into the pack from now on and unlocked at level 26. We're also adding Daddy Wrong Legs which is not level-locked at all.

Also included will be 2 each of the following level 2 decorations.

Large Control Panel
The Bridge
K-Todd Ray Toob
Merely a Portal
Small Metal Pet Cage
Large Wooden Pet Cage
Small Metal Door Pet Cage
Small Wooden Pet Cage
Who said we're limited by universal constants? Einstein? Pfft, in the Mighty Quest for Epic Loot, infinity just keeps getting infinity-er.

It's a Twister! It's a Twister!

Not since Dorothy got her bloomers in a twist has there been a better reason to click your heels and wish you were back in Kansas.

Hello, Cornelius Richling here and I've got something new for you that is going to have castle intruders all over Opulencia running to stand still.

It's the SPACE SLOWNADO, a mysterious and otherworldly device that will ensure that your enemies' bold attack plans quickly begin circling the drain.

No matter how juicy your castle's treasure may look to a famished fighter, one ill-placed foot within the Space Slownado's SUCK-ulent vortex and they will lose more than just their appetite. As the snared enemy is pulled in, the Space Slownado will exert an ever increasing pull and slowing effect, growing stronger as they near the center.

Come on! You don’t need advanced degrees in astrophysics to know which side of the time-space continuum is buttered, because NO ONE needs to know that. What does that even mean?

Get your very own Space Slownado on Now! It won’t matter if your enemies are brainless, heartless or spineless; trapped in its grasp, they’ll be going down the yellow brick road - to defeat.

"Diablo meets Dungeon Keeper"
PC Gamer

"Mighty Quest is like pop-corn. You take just a few to taste them and you end up finishing the whole pot without noticing."

"At its core, The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot shows a lot of promise. I love the dungeon building and the quick and instant gratification the hack n’ slash looting gives."

"The name may be a bit confusing, then, but there's no mistaking the warmth lurking within wonderful chunky art and the neat dovetailing of complimentary systems."

“Mighty Quest is on its way to becoming the essential multi-player game for the non-multi-player”

Despre acest joc

The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot is a brand new game from Ubisoft Montreal that thrusts you in an outrageous medieval fantasy world called Opulencia where wealth, status and showboating are the name of the game!

As a newcomer to Opulencia, you will hack n slash your way through hundreds of castles designed by the ingenious minds of your fellow players!

Don’t forget to show them who’s boss by constructing deadly keep of your very own – in this kingdom, size really does matter!

Key Features

  • Castle Looting: Prepare your hero for battle and charge into one of many player-created castles to test your skills and might! Oh yeah, and don’t forget all the loot and gold waiting for you in the treasure room at the end of the castle.
  • Castle Defense: Protect your treasure from the greedy hands of your neighbors. You and your friends can build custom castles with majestic rooms and fill them with deadly monsters like fire-breathing dragons, nose-picking Cyclopes, swarming vampires and more. Then, surprise your foes by boosting your castle’s defenses with fearsome fire cannons, spike traps and other surprises. The more enemies perish in your castle, the higher the reward.
  • Variety of Heroes: The outlandish world of Opulencia has an eccentric cast of characters ranging from the knight, Sir Painhammer, a good-natured tough guy to Blackeye Bowgart, an archer with a chip on his shoulder. More will be available in the near future.
  • Character Customization: Plain armor is out this season, shiny metal is in. Use your well-earned gold to shop and customize and level up your heroes in style.
  • Showboating: Think you are the baddest of the bad in all of Opulencia? Prove it by creating different challenges for your foes and compare yourself on the leaderboards.
  • Intense Action: Play on your own schedule. Short sessions means you can play when you want to. It also doesn’t hurt to have others playing at the same time, but you don’t need them playing simultaneously to experience looting at its best.

Conceptually-speaking, the game has a lot of potential. My main gripe with it is how vast the difference is between paying and non-paying customers are. I am only floating around the 700-800 range (due to lack of commitment) but the difference in castle defenses are already quite significant. Keep in mind I only play this game for a minimal amount each day. I am sure that as you get higher in the ranks, the premium~free gap only gets larger. I don't recommend this game if you are looking for balance. It has a lot going for it but unfortunately that's not one of them.

Well, what can I vote, i like this game but it's a real pay to win (no offense to all people saying it's not).

Why do i say that ? Well because it is, paying will make a difference from the start to the end (check my amount of hours played, i have all heroes lvl 30).
Why is it pay to win ? Because in low lvls, having the inifity pack giving you a boss in your castle will make a real difference.
In higher lvls, paying will give you things you will NEVER be able to get without paying, and by never i don't mean you need more hours of playing, i simply mean you will NEVER have the same things than a paying guy.
And, i'm not talking about skins or useless things, it's all about the BEST ingame traps and mobs.

I know, most of people say it's all about pets or skins, but no, it isn't.
Actually if you start the game now, you won't be able to craft the best ingame traps and mobs, and your castle won't be able to really stop players. It's because of the "wanted" traps and mobs, that have been available few days during the passed years, and are now impossible to craft. It means you can get them only by paying (infinity pack or steam market).

That drives me to my next point, the steam market.
People will say "if you play during months/years, they sometimes give back the super traps/mobs to craft during few days".
Well yeah, it's true, as an exemple during this week i was able to craft the fire walls, one of the best def traps.
But i was able to craft 2 of them, because of the limited amount of craft on wanted items.
That simple means that even if i play 20 years, everyday to this game, the max amount of fire wall i'll have is 2 (since there is no trade ingame, all you can get without paying is your self crafted items).
But you can easy find guys with 3, 4, or even more fire walls in their castle. Well placed it can make a castle way harder than mine.
Why do they have more fire walls than me ?
Because of this
You can buy and sell every wanted things in the steam market. It means that a paying guy will be able to get any wanted he wants, as soon as he starts the game (he doesn't need to wait (months/years) until they are available to craft). That makes the game pay to win in low lvls (having a boss and few nice traps will make a HARD difference in low lvls).
And in higher lvls, the same paying guy can buy the amount of wanted items he wants. Thats is making the game pay to win in high lvls (because yeah, having your castle full of the best wanted items will make a real and strong difference with your not paid castle, even if you play some years and can get 1-2 of them).

All in all, this is still a cool game for tower defense players like me. I can't vote "yes" because of the pay to win system, but if you are a casual player just wanting to have some fun running castles and trying to build your own, it still can be cool.

-Quick and fluid gameplay
-Pretty graphics
-Does not use a lot of ressources, can work at 30-40 fps on a low end computer
-Great concept
-Extremely pay to win (With an hundred dollars you can build a castle that nobody can beat, not even yourself, huh)
-Limited gameplay, pay for enhancing it (Extremely restricted inventory, lot of loot that you need to progress, but not enough place to stock it)
-Some things need nerf (But Ubisoft are doing a good job on this one)
-Absolutely terrible support, if you got a problem, shove it up your butt and pray for it to repair itself by magic (And do not think that giving them money change anything, I got their premium account thing and got absolutely no help)
-Hackers (some castle are validated in 00 seconds, impossible)
-Bad management of any of the online system (Ubisoft, if you can't handle multiplayer game stop making them, this happen in all your games)

I put it a 11/20, it's fun to play, but can be frustrating if you do not pay to win (because in high level you'll get crushed) and/or if you get a bug that make the game unplaybale, because they'll don't give a ****

The concept is amazing, but the execution isn't flawless. They have a lot of paid DLC that's expensive and the worst part is that at the time of writing this review they have a bug which doesn't allow you to enter and defend your castle.

Still, it's a thumbs up because they update the game often and solve bugs, and in the end it's an enjoyable experience. Play it for a few hours before you shell money into it though, as it might crash on you a lot and thus not be worth your hard earned $$.

For me, it's a 6.5/10 with a good room for improvement.

they just think about money. bugs have been there till the begining and they are not even fixing it. like castle door stay close when u completed it just ♥♥♥♥ me off enought to stop playing that ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game because when u are over 1k crown when u lose to a stupid bug like that then it takes you 30 minutes to grind those crowns.

and its PAY TO WIN ! and they dont even fix the game so the free to play player could have more chances.
