Jack Keane is a common point&click adventure game with Indiana Jones wannabe story, childish humour and either obvious or outright stupid and illogical item combinations topped with extremely boring fistfights.
What's worse, this game is a typical example of 3D adventure that led to the decline of adventure games in late 90s and early 2000s. Third dimension adds nothing to the game except delays stemming from unnecessary pixel (or vertex in this case) hunts and akward controls. Sice you will probably often need to try "everyting-with-everything" to progress ahead, you will be walking a lot in JK2. Thus, bad controls in combination with unskippable player movement were a dealbreaker for me. I may had been able to finish the game if it was just a plain 2D point&click adventure.
Still, if you like childish humour or you are about 11 years old and you don't mind frequent unskippable walking between locations in adventure games, you may find Jack Keane 2 amusing for its nice and stylish graphics and light-hearted narration.Rating: 3/10
