TAKEDOWN é um atirador para estrategas. O jogador que tiver calma, fizer pontaria com cuidado e planear corretamente os seus movimentos irá suplantar o jogador que se limita a correr e disparar para todo o lado. Um combate em espaços confinados que se assemelha às ações das equipas SWAT ou unidades das forças de operações especiais quando o objetivo é abater pequenos números de adversários perigosos. Os ambientes não lineares possibilitam diversas abordagens e táticas, bem como permitem que o jogo possa ser jogado vezes sem conta.
Nos últimos anos, os atiradores tornaram-se todos iguais. Costumava haver uma ampla variedade de jogos, desde títulos de ação “correr e disparar” até atiradores táticos de ritmo lento que se centravam na estratégia e na tática. Contudo, agora, a maioria dos atiradores segue o mesmo modelo de grandes cenários, regeneração de saúde, níveis lineares e “experiências cinemáticas”. Os atiradores táticos realistas com um planeamento aprofundado quase que desapareceram completamente nos últimos tempos.
Este jogo centra-se na modelação de armas realistas, no jogo baseado em equipas e num ambiente de combates de proximidade. Para teres êxito, tens de ir com calma, estudar o teu ambiente e realizar os teus ataques na perfeição. Se levares um tiro, haverá consequências. Não te poderás esconder atrás de uma parede à espera que a tua saúde recupere. Se um elemento da tua equipa for abatido, tens de avaliar a situação e reposicionar os elementos da equipa, caso seja necessário para completar a missão. Não esperes que todas as ferramentas e planos te sejam dados de mão beijada – cabe ao jogador garantir que a sua equipa está equipada e pronta para executar as tarefas que lhe são incumbidas. Com características tais como penetração de balas real, precisão e recuo, a escolha das armas, munições, armaduras e equipamento adequados para a missão é da tua responsabilidade, por isso, escolhe com cuidado.
Existem vários modos de jogo: jogador individual, multijogador cooperativo e competitivo. Se és fã dos atiradores da velha escola nos quais pensar era mais importante do que correr e disparar, ou se andas apenas à procura de algo diferente nos jogos de atiradores, este jogo é para ti.

• Luta com inteligência em mortais combates de proximidade – Os jogadores têm de pensar e movimentar-se taticamente, estar alerta, observar, escutar e tomar decisões sensatas enquanto preparam a sua equipa para o tiro perfeito.
• Ultrapassa desafios sempre diferentes – Mapas não lineares permitem diferentes táticas e abordagens de ataque e defesa. Os jogadores têm de escolher o equipamento que melhor se adequa à sua estratégia.
• Suplanta o inimigo – Os jogadores têm de trabalhar em estreita parceria com a sua equipa não apenas para atacar o inimigo como também para atuar de forma concertada, com vista a concretizarem diversos objetivos.

I see people hating on this game, but lets give actual reasons for why this game is bad okay?

I'll start off with the pros, then move to the cons.

The overall design direction is something that I honestly really liked.
You get one life, a multitude of weapons to choose from, and you can experience this with your friends through different missions that will test your skill, ability to communicate as a team, and planning. The maps feel rather well laid out, and don't really detract from what this game is.\
The difficulty that is presented with the AI also feels good, the enemies have very realistic bullet damage, so when going up against them, its quite based on if you can outsmart the AI.
There is also a map editor that got placed into the game, haven't used it myself, but thats pretty cool!

What does detract from it?
Number one thing for me, is how clunky the controls feel, I can work around everything else, but controls feeling weird are honestly just a no go from me.
The way everything handles just doesn't feel smooth in the slightest, so honestly most of the times I died honestly felt like they could be chocked up to how poorly it felt like it controlled. If you want to make a game difficult and challenging, go for it, but combine difficulty with poor handling and all you manage to create frustration. If difficulty is done right it can make players strive to beat the challenge.

The game also makes a few missteps in how enemies and objectives are spawned. The objective and replayability of the game comes into play with how the arena should change, because the missions you're engaging in are as quick reaction to situations, so you wouldn't be going in knowing anything besides Maaaybe the floor plan of the buildings.
But this gets negated when objectives spawn in the same places no matter what.
Here's a place where a system like what Payday 2 has, where buildings have certain features that get randomized every time you load up a new match, would be amazingly beneficial and would go miles for replayability.

I also praised the enemies a little earlier, however I should mention they're honestly very stupid, the designers managed to get around this slightly by placing all the enemies facing towards where the player would most likely appear in front of them, but still, there were situations where I managed to go behind an enemy and just follow them for a little while, so yeah, enemies are very unintelligent from my experience.

Finally, the UI is fairly clunky and not very easy to manage, choosing a loadout honestly feels very weird, its been a long time since I played it, but it feels very unwieldy and hard to work with.

I think the core idea of this game is definitely saveable, can this game be patched and fixed? If the controls could be made to be tighter, I would invest more time in this game, since I would honestly be able to enjoy the game. If there was more replayability through map randomization, then I think this could be a very competitive game instead of what it is in its current state.
But as I was saying, the core idea is good, but the overall package doesn't really deliver since its not really a polished package. Stay away unless some of these things get fixed.

Alright, so I'm gonna start with the AI. This masterpiece is one of the best AI I've ever seen, not to mention that it's not meant for peasants. For example, the "Easy" mode is comparable to the "Veteran" mode from Call of Duty, and CoD is a game with an extremely high skill cap, mind you. Basically, the "Hard" difficulty can be compared to the hideous amount of rekt you get when you achieve a ♥♥♥♥ grade in school. Yeah, it's so hard you don't even want to play it.

Pros:
- best AI available on the market;
- a 9mm bullet deals 95dmg to heavy armor, being an accurate military simulation at its roots;
- the terrorists are ISIS counterparts;
- SWAT is as dumb as it is in real life;
- you can pick up Asian girls with ease;

Cons:
-Asian girls don't know what this game truly is

My opinion

Well, I got this game for free (well, 1 cent) in a trade.
At the first, the guy wanted to sell it to me for 3$, of course I said no, so he then selled it to me for the 1 cent final price.
I didn't know why he would sell a game of 5$ for a cent.
NOW I KNOW WHY, HE WANTED TO FREE HIMSELF OF THIS CURSE.

The ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ terrorists kill you with one shot. ONE ♥♥♥♥ING SINGLE SHOT. Where's the tactic here if you can't even get close to them because if somebody sees you calls his mates and then you are in a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ gangbang surrounded by 839347389274380947032198040731029847329 bots.

Seriously, this game is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome... if you are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

I bought this game for $1 and I still think it wasn't worth it.
If this was free, I still wouldn't download it.
This game is unfinished and the developers gave up on it.

I want my $1 back so I can go buy something I can enjoy.
