I haven't played this game for too long but it has proven to be very fun and challenging. I am currently playing through the campaign but I am also conducting side missions. The side missions include (from what I have seen so far): assassination of trouble makers, repairing installations, bounty hunting, and transporting VIPs. I mine asteriods and trade at stations frequently to balance my finances. Capturing and selling enemy starships have proven to be the most lucrative transaction. Combat is somewhat confusing at first but the games excellent tutorial guide and fully customizable control menu is very helpful.
-Intense space combat.
-Can easily change viewing settings - Rudder control"bridge" view, Rudder control third person view, and turret third person view.
-Ability to purchase and upgrade several starships.
-Can hire mercs and form a fleet.
-Large open world to explore.
-Many unique ways to "jump"around the map e.g. rifts and wormholes.
-Story is ok.
-Background music is pretty good and varied.
-No NPCs to interact with at space stations.
-No first person perspective.
-No ship interior perspective.
-Fairly steep learning curve to become proficient with all of the games functions.
Overall a great indie title! Give your self lots of time to play this game...it is hard to quit this game for the night!
