About This Game

The United States has a military presence in two-thirds of countries around the world, and some of them have had enough. A group of terrorists calling themselves The Engineers initiate a terror ultimatum called the Blacklist - a deadly countdown of escalating attacks on U.S. interests.

Key Features

Operate without Restrictions
Sam is back in his tactical suit and goggles, and he’s more lethal and agile than ever. Granted the freedom to do whatever it takes to stop the Blacklist, Sam flies from exotic locales to U.S. cities as he races against the clock to find out who’s behind this devastating threat.

Own Your Play Style
Splinter Cell Blacklist builds on the stealth roots of the franchise, while exploring new directions to embrace the realms of action and adventure. Players can define their personal play styles and be rewarded for those choices.
  • Ghost players want to remain undetected.
  • Assault players rely on instincts and frontal blow to deal with a situation.
  • Panther players look for lethality in the most efficient and silent way.

Tools of the Trade
Take down The Engineers by using new gadgets such
as the upgraded Snake Cam and Micro-trirotor Drone. Splinter Cell Blacklist is also bringing back fan-favorites like the Sticky Shocker and the brutal, curved Karambit knife. Fans of stealth will be happy to make the most of Sam’s sneaking abilities to abduct and carry enemies, while Killing In Motion allows the player to strike with surgical precision by marking and executing multiple enemies in one fluid motion.

Build a New Echelon
Sam is building a whole new Echelon unit; his team, his way. Anna “Grim” Grimsdottir is his technical operations manager, CIA operative Isaac Briggs brings additional firepower, and resident hacker Charlie Cole rounds out the crew. 4th Echelon is a fully mobile ops unit with unlimited resources and cutting-edge technology aboard the re-purposed stealth airliner, the Paladin.

Enjoy a Fully Integrated Experience
Sam and his team are aware of terrorist attacks in real time thanks to the Strategic Mission Interface (SMI). The SMI allows 4th Echelon to receive data about mission objectives while on the move. With the SMI, players can take advantage of the universal game economy system that allows players to fully customize and upgrade Sam, his suit, goggles, weapons, the Paladin and much more.

Spies vs. Mercs Returns
Spies vs. Mercs is back with an new take on asymmetrical gameplay. Players will be able to face off in teams of 4 all the while creating their very own Spy or Merc according to their playstyles via thorough customization elements. The original Classic Spies vs. Mercs experience also makes its long awaited comeback for the fans.

COOP
With the SMI, the lines are blurred between the single campaign and COOP as the narrative is deepened with Sam and Briggs. Earn in-game currency and unlock additional weapons or gadgets via specialized missions assigned by Grim, Briggs, Charlie and Kobin.

A great story, fascinating characters and Style of playing insipid, I think Splinter cell put its good mark in the world of spy games, i am sad because it's finished :)

Another good Ubisoft game (hard to believe amirite?) Blacklist has a very good story line with very good character customization. The multiplayer can become very intense and its also really fun to sit back with some friends in a private match and see who the best player is at sneaking around!

Controls could be better - you can't bind multiple actions to the same key. Game itself is actually pretty good.

Great game, ruined by Uplay.

New Sam Fisher is kind of a ♥♥♥♥, and I don't like those changes, but as far as gameplay goes, they hit a sweet spot between stealth on early splinter cells, and not taking 5 mins to cross a pipe, sacraficing some (a great deal of) realism for improved gameplay. It's a very well done game, and I WISH it was just listed on steam like a normal game.

But it's not. You have to deal with UPLAY. Ubisoft INSISTS on making players go through this poorly-coded middleman, like they think they have their own Steam or something. Even after plenty of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ off players ranting on forums, they still push out games with it. Well I will add to those rants that fall on deaf ears.

If UPLAY breaks, you can't play your game, and uplay breaks, a lot. Uplay is also required for multiplayer, but is very picky on what internet connections it likes and will work with. Basically, if you want to play this game's great multiplayer, forget about it. Which is a damn shame because its a great multiplayer the few times it works. Phenominal coop, but you can't play it when UPLAY says ♥♥♥♥ you.

They recently reduced the invasiveness of UPLAY which was a nice touch, but at the end of the day, if it breaks, you can't play your game. so might as well not have it. It's truly pathetic and I can't recommend this game because of how poorly it is implemented. Ubisoft, if you read this, just give up and remove UPLAY. I will not buy another Ubisoft game until it is gone. It has ruined so many games, and I'm done with it. I miss the old days when I liked seeing the Ubisoft splash screen because my favorite game was starting up, hassle free. Then Uplay happened.

Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist is all about the wacky antics of four schoolgirls—Sam Fisher gets bored easily and often breaks the laws of physics to get what she wants; Isaac Briggs is incredibly rich and knows how to make things go her way; Anna Grímsdóttir would probably get arrested from her actions like eating panties or kidnapping children; and Victor Coste, their ordinary junior, rounds out the eccentric bunch that forms the sole members of their school's stealth club.
Despite their interest in learning the sport, the older girls prefer messing around, while Victor, being the only one who actually knows how to play and the most mature in spite of being younger, has to deal with her seniors' out of control behavior.
When these four girls come together, insanity ensues in this lightning-paced comedy about a tennis club that doesn't really play tennis.

And its not new berserk adaption in cg so thats good i guess.

Overall a good game. The graphics are decent, and the levels are varied and exotic. The stealth-gameplay is very good. I especially enjoyed Sam Fisher's takedowns, and the fact that you are free to choose your own playstyle. The game does however have some shortcomings. For starters the story is kinda bland, and the ending comes suddenly out of nowhere. The game is too short. The new voiceactor for Sam Fisher is ATROCIOUS. Seriously! I havent heard a voice that monotonous since... well... HAL 9000 from the movie 2001: a space odyssey (only that was monotonous on purpose). Sam Fisher's new voice is not the only problem with him. Sam Fisher doesn't have much personality, and is a very boring for a main character. He is kinda smug and not particularly likeable. I didn't find the rest of the good guys (Grim,Isaac and Charlie) that interesting either, but thats just my opinion. The main villain Sadiq, really steals the show. He is both charismatic and intimidating, and has a playful approach to the evil deeds that he must carry out.

The game is fun to play if you are willing to overlook its shortcommings. I recommend it to all stealth-fans :-) 7/10

Pros (+)
+The game has a great story mode, especially the weapon selections and array of attachments
+Nothing you buy with ingame currency is expensive, you get it all by playing the story
+Good fun to play Co-op with a friend

Cons (-)
-Story is short
-Somewhat more unrealistic then I would've liked.

TLDR - Good Game, definitely worth buying

Its a great game but I uninstalled it after the campaign because of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ Uplay; no one ♥♥♥♥ing likes you Uplay ♥♥♥♥ OFF. If I buy a game on steam I WANT IT ON STEAM, NOT ON YOUR CRAPPY SOFTWARE.
