About This Content

Is geography destiny? Why repeat history when you could forge a new geography each time you begin a game? The Scrambled Nations map pack includes maps for the geographic regions of Canada, Australia, Japan, Scandinavia, Great Britain, France, Turkey, Italy, Russia and China. The geographic outlines of each nation are exact; however, special scripts produce randomized interiors each time a new game begins, allowing for endless replayability.

-Quick Review-
Sid Meier's Civilization V: Scrambled Nations Map Pack contains maps for Canada, Australia, Japan, Scandinavia, Great Britain, France, Turkey, Italy, Russia, and China.
(All map DLC is just that... Map's. I could thumbs it up or down. It does what it advertises, but I personally feel like these features should already be included within the core game. Buy it if you have the money, or grab a bundle deal like I did.)

-Detailed breakdown review-
Story: There is no change to the story with this DLC.

Gameplay: Ultimately this DLC is to let you play in real world geographic locations which may or may not be familiar to you. (Depends on how good you were in geography class.)

Achievements: There are no achievements directly tied to this DLC.

Price: To buy the Scrambled Nations Map Pack it's $4.99. Standalone... not worth it. I suggest picking up this DLC in the Sid Meier's Civilization V: Complete Edition, or in another type of bundle deal. (I picked mine up from Humblebundle)

Conclusion: $4.99 for content you could probably get from the steam workshop. For me that's too high of a price. However I obtained the DLC at a discounted price and for the price given I enjoyed the extra content.

Nice little feature, it's only worth it if you buy the complete pack of Civ 5 (all DLCs) during a Steam sale.

Great maps; worth picking up during a steam sale. Probably not worth picking up at full price though.

Sid Meier's Civilization V - Scrambled Nations Map Pack

This is a minor DLC. If you want maps more maps that are of nations but have random resources and terrain every game than its a good buy. But I wouldn't pay full price which is $5.49. I bought it at 75% off and if you do buy this I would advise you wait till its on sale since its not work 5 bucks.

(Copy-Pasted my review from "Sid Meier's Civilization V: Scrambled Continents Map Pack")

Great DLC but not worth the $4.99 USD imo. Like as I'm posting this there is a 75% sale going on for this DLC for $1.25 USD - which is worth it... or simply wait for a sale on the Civ5 complete edition and get it then which is the best thing to do and is 100% worth it believe me! (save up and be patient!)
