About This Game

Fight off hordes of monstrous mutants created from a strange cataclysmic event in the new tower defense game, Prime World: Defenders. Join a group of exile treasure hunters who have ventured into the capital of an ancient empire, vast with mystery and danger.

Prime World: Defenders merges classic tower defense gameplay with collectible card mechanic. Your towers, your spells, your traps - all are magic cards, that you can collect and upgrade. You'll have to develop your own strategy, because you'll get your random set of cards after each battle.

Freeze, burn, poison, explode and slash countless enemies that will try to stop you from gathering artifacts of old kingdom. Choose your cards carefully, play them strategically and expect some heavy resistance along the way – from small and almost harmless mutated fungi to powerful giant goblins and nagas.

Did we mention? In addition to story-driven single-player campaign Prime World: Defenders has randomly generated missions, newly added endless mode and New Game Plus!

Adding grind to tower defense is like adding salt to the sea. It already has too much and the end result is crusty.

It is a fun TD. However do not buy this game. There is a free version out there that is better. The steam version is outdated. In addition after a while the game just gets repetative and there is a ton of grinding you need to do to progress

A decent tower defense, with some interesting gameplay elements like card upgrades. Bosses require special tactical thinking. Gets kinda boring towards the end. Warning! Very buggy achievements (even with the latest patch).

Really good Tower Defense game, recomended for anyone that likes TD games or even card games as the mechanics are card based. A bit of grinding may be needed at some points but the random generation of totems on maps makes it fun to replay levels and you can always speed up the game and call waves early to fly through any level.
The only downsides seems to be that the Steam version appears to have been abandoned by the developer as it has not received any updates compared to the iOS or Android versions and some achievements appear to be bugged so if you are an achievement hunter you may want to look into this before buying.
Overall a great TD game, but until the devs release some updates maybe buy it only on good offer or in a bundle.
