Patch 10.9.1

New hero Luna and lower requirements for using talents!

Lords and Ladies!

Patch 10.9.1 was installed on our game servers, charming hero Luna is ready do fight in honor of Praia! While we want to tell you more about the new update first.

New Hero!
The Adornian scholar, astrologer, and just a beautiful girl Luna has arrived in Praia! However, do not be fooled by her attractive appearance because Luna’s role is Slayer! But slaying her enemies is not the only use she has for the energy of the cosmos. Luna’s abilities make her allies on the battlefield much more mobile, an attribute usually reserved for Support heroes. Interested? You can read more about this new hero here.

Just like previous heroes, you can get Luna in three ways:
  • Complete a seven-day quest chain. You will then be able to recruit Luna for 750,000 silver. The first quest in the chain is already available, and the last will appear on June 23rd. Once you have completed the last of the quests, you can spend the silver to recruit Luna right away.
  • The normal way to recruit Luna (paying silver without completing a quest chain) will be available for all players from 25th castle level and higher starting on June 30th.
  • Or hire Luna now for 299 gold.
With the release of this new hero, the price of S.Putnik has been reduced to 500,000 silver and 199 gold.

Lower hero level requirements for using exclusive and legendary talents
The requirements for heroes to use exclusive and legendary talents are now a little less demanding. Now exclusive talents can be used from the 1st level of the Hero and higher, and legendary talents, from 15th level and higher. These changes were made for two reasons:
  • This restriction used to be justified since players with lots of playtime could just pump up a hero they just purchased with powerful talents and then play at a lower level against opponents without high-level talents. Now getting exclusive talents isn’t as hard as it once was, before the first orange set was introduced. The chance of getting oranges has been increased (remember that your first victory of the day will always get you at least one orange talent), and the forge produces two talents per one Prime crystal. So in general it is significantly easier now to put together a good build. Therefore, we wanted to give this opportunity to make a good build to our novices, who just recruited the hero.
  • Beginning with update 10.8, matchmaking began to consider the Player’s Maximal Rating. For all intents and purposes, when playing with a newly-recruited hero, a player with a high maximum rating would be matched with players with a similar rating and similarly developed heroes. Together with matchmaking based on average power, this allows the requirements for talents to be relaxed, since in most games that result, players will be well-matched in average power and thus in skill.
Battles
  • Challenges mode is back!
  • Fixed a bug that caused the main building to deal no damage on the Outpost map.
  • Fixed a bug when after the Rampage ability activation, Tu’Rehu died, but the ability went on cooldown.
  • Balance Charm and Inspiring Hymn talents were reworked: Now when Max Health is increased, healing only occurs once – when the effect is applied. In other words, players cannot heal multiple times in a row by refreshing the effect.
  • Fixed a bug when cooldown time of the talent "Ritual Extermination" was not displayed when used on allied soldiers.
  • The Antifreeze effect is now also colored red when striking enemies.

Clans
  • Clan abbreviations are now always displayed correctly.
  • Fixed a display error that showed the clan list in the incorrect order on the All Clans tab and caused problems when searching for some clans.

Other
  • Optimized the game and improved game stability. Among other fixes, fixed a bug that cause connection problems to be handled incorrectly when in the Castle, causing the “Internal Server Error” message.

More summer surprises!

Quests changes and earlier equipment of exclusive and legendary talents!

Lords and Ladies!

Summer is always a very special period. This is the time when you can relax and enjoy your life, time with a lot of warm sunshine. Many things change in summer and Praia is not an exception!

Equip exclusive talents already from the 1st Hero level!

We want to share with you some details about the upcoming first update of this summer - 10.9.1 (but details about our new Hero will still stay a mystery!).

After installation of the new update it will be easier to create a desired build, because of lower Hero level requirements for using exclusive and legendary talents!

The previous limitation was justified because it could lead to an imbalance between players. Now it has also become easier to obtain orange talents - minimum 1 orange for the first victory of the day, 2 talents for 1 Prime crystal in the Talentforge / Talent Garden... All in all, it will be much easier for our newcomers to enrich supplies of exclusive talents!

Moreover, we also lower the requirements for using legendary talents - they equipped starting from 15th Level of the Hero now!
  • Exclusive talents from 1st Level of the Hero.
  • Legendary talents from 15th Level of the Hero.

Be ready! The update 10.9.1 will appear in Praia very soon!

Changes in rewards for daily quests!

In addition, we would like to tell you more about valuable legendary crystals!

Since legendary talents and crystals were added to the game, we have constantly taken your opinions into account and adapted gathering of legendary crystals as possible to each class of our players. But that also shouldn't be too easy to get them, in order not to retain the exclusivity of the most desired content in the game.

Today you can get legendary crystals for completing daily quests or exchange them for Prime crystals in the Fair.

But now you can only get legendary crystals at the end of the whole quest, as a reward for the third stage. We have decided to make something pleasant for you and therefore starting from tomorrow you will receive legendary crystals already for the first stage of the quest!

In such a manner, this is how the reward for each stage of daily quests will look like:
  • Red crystals for the first stage
  • Resources for the second stage
  • Prime crystals for the third stage

We want also to remind you that our "big" quests are on Wednesdays and Saturdays, these quests aren't divided into stages. They remain unchanged - as usual you will receive 3 and 5 legendary crystals for completing the Wednesdays and Saturdays quests accordingly.

These are still not all the surprises that await us this summer. Stay tuned!

I appear to be one of the few people who have come to enjoy this game. People say its a grind, but there are clear ways to avoid it, that's kind of what the city building aspect is for. Just my two cents

this game HAD potental...

Nival just shoots it's self in the foot every turn tho...
HAD an ENGLISH server.... but they added a really bad profanity filter that would filter dumb words like "tower"

then they added in better traits or what ever they are called... but only the winning team had a chance of getting them.
with in a day a couple of the guilds were just dominating every single battle because the traits were sooo much more powerful then what we could get with out winning.
people started quitting and getting banned for speaking about the unbalance on the forums.... leading to long que times.
navils responce was to allow a LARGER power and/or level gap bettween teams.... leading to these guilds being able to stomp brand new players.

after a few months of this they merged the russian server with the english server.... again the russians had far better talents then even the english players that had been stomping the english server.
this lead to any russian getting placed on a team with an english player to AFK/Leave the match....

they also refuse to add smart casting... very annoying when you are repedidly casting a skill on a very short cooldown.

AFKing/Leaving/surrendering for no reason is still a MAJOR problem in this game.....

I really wanted to like this game -- the characters are fascinating, and it does have good gameplay. But this is one of the most cynical MOBAs out there. Take League of Legends, and cross it with some of the more obnoxious Facebook games. Energy mechanics to play specific characters (although you can spend in-game cash to reset them), Farmville mechanics to gather resources necessary to get boosts.

Rather than League's runes, masteries, and normal 'Q/W/E/R' levelling, you set up 36 possible levels in their own Rune system -- but those runes have Gacha style randomness, different levels of rarity / effectiveness, and you can combine runes together to level them up to level 5. These set up the level up bonuses that you get in match -- and their strength also contributes to the normal level up bonuses you get.

At all steps you're given incentives to pay money -- money can get you double XP towards your characters to increase their stats in a small way, double your rune drops, turn off the green (common, and incredibly weak) drops entirely, and many other things. While this game is ostensibly free to play...it's incredibly pay to win, as well. A person who spends money can buy some legendary runes to start off with that are a good headstart, buy the ability to pick up runes more easily, and buy the ability to get their resources faster to level things up.

The gameplay is fun...but I can't continue to play it with just how horrible the metagame is. Add to this the fact that the game is mostly popular in Russia and other Asian countries, with no regional servers--so you will almost always be matched with 3 or 4 players that do not speak your language, and it's just not for me anymore.

Half way decent MOBA. Too bad this company is being run by incompitent thieves. Do NOT, and I repeat, do NOT invest any of your money in this game. Period. Don't give them a single cent. I played for a couple of months, spent some money so I could buy some in game items and whatnot. Then my account gets corrupted. I report it, and they tell me to create a new account so they can compensate the new account and remove the old one.

I do this and respond with the information for the new account. They then tell me that they won't fix it this way, and that I'll have to wait for the next patch to see if the next patch fixes my account instead. Beause apparently they just wanted to not have to do their jobs. Wait a week for new patch, it fixes nothing. I tell them it's fixed nothing, and demand that they now actually do their jobs and fix my account.

They tell me that they'll fix the account, but I'm being rude to them (I told them that the needed to fix my problem rather than waiting to see if someone would do their job for them) and then threatened to ban me and closed the ticket. I open a NEW ticket because my account still hasn't been compensated. Explain what happened. Account banned.

I'm currently investigating what legal action may be taken against the company, but it seems that with the small amount of moneey I've spent it wouldn't be worth all the time and effort that it would take to try to get the money back, and court costs are out. So you want my advice? Don't do business with this company and don't play this game.

Prime world is a dying game which does not address the matchmaking (which is broken) and the players that play on the Keeper side will sandbag every match in order to win. They enter with overleveled characters and stomp the competition with 4 and 5 man premade teams. If you are going to download this game, wait until they fix it first.

EDIT:
this game is ONLY good if you play it for as many hours as i did, if you play, play on the overpowered characters (listed by their brokenness Blademaster/Sesha, Witch/Moira, Nox/Vryl, Haka/Daka, Firefox, Cryo, or Jaegar/wolfmaster) because if you don't you'll get stomped and left in the dust. there are some of these heroes just mentioned that are raking in the resources because they are so easy to play, (i played my blademaster with crappy stuff on him and retired him when he was level 12 because i was so bored, seriously, he's immortal after level 13). I still wouldn't recommend this game because the heroes are so underbalanced and there is a definate lack of initiative on balancing the characters. Until the characters are balanced, my recommendation stands, don't play it if you are NEW.

TLDR: don't play it if you're new, you'll get stomped.

Positives:

-The support that I've received has been very helpful.

-The town / economy building section is pretty neat

-Earning exp and gold (same thing) in game to spend on abilities or pots/truesight/scrolls is interesting, being rewarded with more "exp" for last hitting is neat.

-Multiple game modes, including the standard 3 lane 5v5, a pve mode, and others that are rotated on a clock schedule

-It can be a refreshing game change if you need a break from other more demanding mobas, like Dota or even League
_____________________________________________
Neutral:

-Bought heroes. I have the opinion that, like LoL and every other game that does this, if you limit core mechanics with currency then it can never be a truly competitive game. Does LoL have competitions and is extremely popular and makes a lot of money? Yes, but McDonalds is extremely popular and makes a lot of money, but I wouldn't call that food.
If you want something to be truly competitive and legitimate on a general playerbase level, you can't limit core mechanics to anyone.
However, it adds incentive to grind and play, and some people prefer that.

-Very simple. It may not seem that way at first with the flood of new information, but once you learn the Talent groups and get the gist of things it's a very simple game. Last hitting or being near creep deaths earns resource which you use to buy your abilities and stats, which levels you up.
_____________________________________________
Negatives:

-Matchmaking. As a newish player, though a moba veteran, I find myself going against people with max level heroes and full rare or epic talent sets, and even some unique ones, when I myself have new heroes with no bonus stats and standard or uncommon talents. This is akin to a level 1 League player with no runes or masteries fighting level 30 players. It doesn't matter your skill level, or even if you're better than they are, there's just a very heavy disadvantage stat wise from the start. This makes carrying any allies very hard, especially if they feed. Normally you would be able to overcome that, but not with the stat advantage in addition.

-Language barrier. Over my hours on this game, I've run into one other person who wasn't a friend that spoke or understood English. This could be overcome by a translational chat wheel, or other similar device. One type of ping is not enough to communicate, especially when they're often spammed.

As a side note, after playing this game you will actually be thankful for "that one guy" on your team in Dota or League who you thought was bad.

I'm going to give this game more time and chances. At the very least, it's nice to go to when I don't want to exert myself on more complex mobas.
Until they fix the matchmaking however, I can't recommend this game.

this game is way too unbalanced. not nearly enough players. matchmaking is a complete joke. i have played this game for a long time now and i am seriously fed up. the changes announced in the next patch dont seem to adress any real problems. it could have been a great game but you can see the developer ♥♥♥♥ing it up a lot unfortunately :(

Do you have a lot of money, do you like to dominate a video game because you spend more of it than anyone else, then this is the game for you, with the ability to unlock hero's that have incredible stats if you spend enough money on silver production, and the ability to give them incredible items that destroy people which you can create quickly with cash, this game is so blatantly pay to win it's painfull, there's almost always one guy on a team that has the best of everything in the game because he clearly paid for it and whichever team that is wins

pros: very good map/atmosphere, very nice style of gameplay, easy to learn&play, there isn't insane aoe skills in game which can kill all players of other team.

cons: completely unbalanced and unfair. you must buy heroes you want to play, hero prices have an increasing lane and best heroes are most expensive ones of course. it's a P2W game.
