For a puzzle game, this is suprisingly addictive, after the first hour or so, this get's quite strategical and difficult.

Recommend that you get all the PSI you can, while the hacking and battles are easy. I made the mistake of going for firepower and that is rarely a good thing.

If you do go down the 'RUN AND GUN' method, get better weapons by selling cargo when it is green on the sell menu!

Horrible game. I see they added more lame mechanics to make it more annoying. Why does the game go so slow? Why does it feel like the hints the game gives you benifit the Ai.

Just a big troll game. boring as hell.

Weakest entry in the genre. The chain reactions you get seem mostly random, like the game practically plays itself. It's playable, but I didn't get much out of it. Even if you're a fan of the Puzzle Quest series, I'd skip it.

Awful tagalong sequel to a game that, despite its' many faults, remained enjoyable. The new three-direction mechanics add nothing to the game except hassle, the ship/item setup is immensely unrewarding, and the cheating AI is now so transparent it's actually embarassing. If you enjoyed PQ, avoid Galactrix. In fact, just avoid; you can do so much better elsewhere.

This game is kind of fun. However, there is far too much randomness since combos result in gems from off the screen coming into the playing field. It makes strategy not be nearly as important as it ought to be. Too some extent this is really just a game of chance. Add in the crashes every hour or two on Windows 7, and it makes for an exceedingly annoying game sometimes. The lack of information when you start about being attacked by every ship if you loot contraband off of a pirate can really screw up your game also.

PIcked this up in a sale at 90% off; and yet I struggle to make sense of it. It feels like the computer is cheating all the time. I make a move, match 3,4 or even 5 gems, and if i'm lucky I'll get a chain. The computer will make a move and the gems added to the board conviently creates chain after chain after chain. The AI's moves is like a vegas fruit machine paying out, mine are like rotten fruit. I guess I could just be unlucky, but I suspect some fowl play going on. Oh and it crashed afer 25mins of play, taken steam with it.

I loved PQ-1, a bit more meh about PQ-2 but this is likely to never be played again..
