About the Game

Never before have the forces aligned. United by name and by cause, The Fallen, Pagans, Crusaders, Intruders, and Stroggs must channel their power into an allied operation where teamwork is the only method of mass destruction. Q3:TA adds a ton of great maps, game modes, bots that learn, etc. Fun way to play Quake3. Only downside is no custom resolution support out of the gate (4:3 video modes are all that seem to work. My monitor uses 16:10 (1650x1050) and there's no option for it so I'm playing windowed 1024x768. Other than that Q3:TA is a pretty fun FPS.

If you want to play Quake, play Quake 3: Arena not this crap. No one plays it anymore and there's no point in playing if the AI is almost non existent. Just avoid, do not waste your money, I can definitely recommend Quake 3: Arena but not this crap. Plus, the game modes should've been in Quake 3: Arena from the start instead of making a poor add-on pack for money. 2/10- TERRIBLE

Wow quake hasn't aged well. I guess this is supposed to be capture the flag. The maps are plain ugly.

I played it in single player for ~5 minutes and felt confused for the first 4. Once I knew what was going on I was disasppointed. I jumped right in and the game started me off in a team based deathmatch. It was 2 teams. Each team had only one player. XD

At least start me off in capture the flag right!? And with more than 2 players!? WTF. XD

All I kept thinking is "I don't want to be here, UT2004 has CTF with huge outdoor maps and good ai".

Speaking of outdoor maps. The one map I played on was indoors corridore style YUCK!
