We have poured our passion and creativity into taking you on an enthralling ride away from wearisome reality, by providing you with the choice to be whatever your heart desires, in Legends of Dawn.

Of course, the choices you make during game play does not prevent you from trying something else later, or simultaneously if you wish. You could combine the sword and the magic, be a powerful crafter or anything else. Legends of Dawn liberates from class restrictions unlike real life. Class, race and differences exist within the game but after choosing your own race and gender, all else can be altered without restarting the game.

Another quality that makes Legends of Dawn interesting, is the freedom of direction and movement. Most games force a player to follow the main storyline and forbid any deviation, or significant veering off the set course. Legends of Dawn is more sympathetic to your playing needs. You are free to wander wherever tickles your fancy within the continent, without limitations, under one condition. Stay alive. We have been careful to ensure that the quests only suggest, rather than impose direction of movement. Your journey is in your hands alone.

In addition to all those remarkable features already mentioned, you are bound to notice another cool thing about Legends of Dawn. The absence of loading screen. It would have been so much easier to create a game that would constantly force you to wait before the screen while new contents load, but Dreamatrix is aware that your time is too valuable to waste. We put our heads together and created our very own engine that discreetly streams content in the background, in real time. You are free to enter houses, caves, dungeons, temples, new regions and so much more, without those pesky loading screens interrupting your playing pleasure.

In order to provide you with such blissful range of possibilities, we had to create a rather large world called Narr. The world of Narr in Legends of Dawn, spans across continents through stunning picturesque landscape that stimulates the mind. There are magical regions where the mountains and hills defy gravity, buoyant as balloons. We have also created countless dungeons awaiting for you to discover what mysteries lie within their cold depths, as well as camps, impressive docks and grim fortresses that bear silent witness to battles. Mausoleums and cemeteries also await your exploration. The hikes over unforgiving mountains and canyons are sure to thrill the most ardent explorer. Graceful flying islands and mystical swamps instil a sense of awe that could nudge you to cross the threshold of the serene temples and shrines to pay your respects to the gods of the land. With so much more on offer than is mentioned here, there is no reason why Legends of Dawn should not become your favourite RPG.

Попытка (пока неудачная) сделать рпг-песочницу с видом сверху.

Вас, как и меня, скорее всего отпугнет дичайшая сырость игры в любом её аспекте, будь крафтинг, кач, квесты, исследования и т.д. Ей место в богомерзком раннем доступе, а не на цифровых полках готовых продуктов игровой индустрии. Если вы бросите/удалите эту игрушку после 10-15 минут я искренне вас пойму, ибо в 2014 году благодаря стиму найти во что поиграть не составит проблем. Зачем тратить время на это? Нет, ну правда. Напишу, что тут есть - обширная и довольно плотно сбитая игровая карта (размером больше Скайрима, так то), крайне сложная система крафтинга всего и вся, огромный бестиарий монстров, квесты, которые действительно влияют на повествование. Также ощущается общая хардкорность игрового процесса в плане удобств, нет тут быстрых путешествий и направляющей руки рассказчика. Однако нормально работать это дело даже не собирается. Как бы там ни было, решайте сами играть или не играть. Я бы не стал.

Туча багов, невероятно медленно работает и подгружается. Загрузка перед началом игры, как в 90-х при установке какой нибудь игры. Такое чувство, что мир вырвали из MMORPG и переделали для игры на одного. Баланса ни какого в боевой системе. Сортировка в инвентаре просто ужасна. У этой игры, невероятное количество минусов. В неё сможет играть, только самый преданный фанат. Есть несколько интересных идей, но крайне неудачно реализованных. "Dungeon Siege - игра БОГ" по сравнению с этой.

Ждал данную игру еще до релиза. Делал предзаказ. Установил, зашел и... Даже не сразу понял что она не стоит своих четырех сотен. Нет, я не жадный, но игра из себя ничего не представляет. Разве что, общий хардкор(читай, думай - сам). Так же есть различное оружие, которым пользоваться кстати, совсем уж не удобно. Анимация никакущая. Путешесвия унылы, бои, еще унылей. Брать ли данную игру? Решать конечно вам, но в чем я уверен, так это в том, что я бы ее, никому не посоветовал.

There is an embryo of a good game here, and one day this game might actually turn out to be a worthwhile title, but as of right now (15th Jan 2014), it’s nowhere near a game worth anyone’s time.
There are several issues with this title, but the main one is its horrible optimization. Even with all the graphics settings set to low, and shadows turned off, I hardly ever get more than 5 fps. When there are NPCs on screen, the frame rate drops even further. Reports on the forum seem to indicate that this is not just a problem that people with weaker computers have, nor is it a few isolated incidents, the game just does not run properly, even on high end machines.
Then there are the bugs. During my short time in the game I managed to get stuck in a wall, I had a dialogue box open without anything in it and my character suddenly disappeared. Also, the voice acting is less than stellar, and the voice overs don’t always match the text on screen. It would have been better if they would have just gone with text and no voice overs.
Pathfinding is also problematic. The character will just run straight towards where the game has decided that you’ve clicked (which is not always where you actually clicked), and get stuck on anything that comes in his or her way. This gets rather frustrating, and it would have been nice if the character would at least have been able to navigate around smaller objects
Apart from that, there is not much I can say about this title, as just could not play it properly. Avoid it, at least until it has been fixed.

I usually refrain from giving negative reviews to anything, but this one made me personally message all of my friends which had the game on their Wishlist.
Lots of great ideas, but an extremely poor implementation.
They should officially apologize to anyone who backed them on their Crowdfunding. It shows the clear flaw on Greenlight, where you vote a game up or down based on what it should be, and not on what it is.

This Diablo-like game is as repetitive as it gets, and does nothing to guide you, as a player. Your first character will probably be a bad one since there's no way to understand anything on the beginning. But that doesn't mean you'll have to restart, the game is rather easy and simplistic under its "Complexity Hood," that is but an illusion coming from the game's incompetent contextualization.

In the end, it is another 'click until its dead, repeat', and an easy one. The combat is slow paced and monotonous. The enemies are always simple and their AI is just plainly bad. The interface is just impracticable, to take an item out of a container is probably the first challenge of the game when you start to play. The game's camera is probably the worse I've seen in, long, long years.

The game has the clear symptoms of an ambitious design. But unmet ambition means nothing. It is probably the worst RPG game I've played since I first laid my hands on the genre 15+ years ago, and I've been through a lot of them.
