DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!!!!
This was my favorite game, especially during beta. It was a wonderful game at one time despite it's issues, but it's dead now. Developers have stated that they will no longer work on the game and the last patch that was supposed to be a stability patch broke the game.

There are no longer players to play with or a game to play. It is purely shameful that this game has not been removed from steam since being abandoned in such a state.

(I apologize, but I'm compelled to speak my piece) It's a total crack o' ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥t in my opinion. If Fatshark would make this into a single player game this would be INCREDIBLE! It would sink Mount and Blade and leave others in its genre in the dust. However, I find the multiplayer experience to be miserable and few in choice as far as map and or game style. Almost no one plays this anymore and those who do run about exploiting the many unbalanced special attacks and weapons in game. The same goes for War of the Roses which, in my opinion once more, is a far more thought through gaming experience. Fatshark, you guys are genius for bringing the battlefield feel to the ancient fields of England. But, without the singleplayer rpg element to give your amazing fighting engine any real purpose but to "teabag" players I can't and won't play these anymore. I'm a decent player besieged by frustration. Please give this engine and set of mechanics a deeper world to play in.

Had potential but after one server "update" the game became broken, it was a good game but now since everyone including the Devs have abandoned it, I can't recommend it anymore.
