Face Off Goes Mobile

On November 11th, Face Off (our sister game) is launching on Android, with an iOS release quite soon after. Now you'll be able to enjoy our strategic collectible card game wherever your travels might take you. Better yet, you'll be able to link to your Steam account, meaning progress on your computer transfers over to your tablet, and vice versa.

To help make this launch special, we're going to be running plenty of in-game events, including an hourly 'Guess the Card?' game where the winner gets tickets that can be used to craft new cards. We've made many improvements over the past few weeks and, if you haven't checked it out in awhile, you definitely should. You might be surprised at how much better it is.

Haven't played MoW: Face Off, yet? You should. It's a unique combination of collectible card game and strategic play, where your choices of what to play and where to move are every bit as important as your decisions about what cards you bring with you to battle. Three of the March of War factions have been released -- European Alliance, United Republic, and the Shogun Empire -- and the other three are on their way. In fact, we recently announced that the next faction will be the Soviet Union. So, download the game, Face Off against your friends, and compete to be the best. It's completely free, and a lot of fun.

March of War Development Hold

Hi everyone, it's DamionFury. I’m going to get straight to the point. Development on March of War has been halted.

We want to continue developing March of War – but at this time we do not have the funds to do so. Our intention is to come back around to MoW when we obtain the funding. Meanwhile our investors have directed us to focus on MoW Face Off which is built on modern infrastructure, versus the antiquated, extremely complex and expensive-to-manage code of March of War.

When we succeed at making Face Off a profitable game we will reconsider what it will take to recast MoW on a state-of-the-art technology platform.

In the interim we are exploring the costs involved with keeping MoW running as a completely free game. There is some coding involved to make MoW free and there is the issue of maintaining and paying for a complex server infrastructure. We will make a decision soon – before the close of 2015. In the meantime, in-game gem rewards have been increased considerably.

No matter what happens, we plan to give all current MoW players (as of this post) special rewards within Face Off. We’re deciding the specifics of how we’ll do this, so please come back to MoW on occasion, or check our Steam store page for news.

About This Game

The year is 1947. The world lies ravaged by war. Align yourself with one of six warring factions and fight for global domination in a world where borders rapidly shift as battles are won and lost.

This is March of War. An online turn-based strategy game set in a dieselpunk world where strategy and firepower rule the day. Take command and lead your army into 3D battlefields that allow you to assess the war-zone from every angle. Deploy a wide range of vehicles, infantry and artillery where their specific weapons can be most effective.

Destroy your enemies and capture their territory to advance through the ranks of your faction. Rise high enough and you’ll have the honour of joining your faction’s High Command, or perhaps even be voted Faction Leader. Achieving High Command or Faction Leader status expands the game into an intricate web of political allegiances and betrayals, where your decisions directly influence the course of the war as you strive to lead your faction to global domination.

    Key Features Include

  • Tactical warfare - Play smart and dirty to conquer this war-torn dieselpunk world.
  • Choose what you fight for - The six factions are very distinct. Who will you be loyal to?
  • Multiplayer gameplay - Players are waiting worldwide. Join a co-op or PvP and march on.
  • Start your own fights – Skirmish lets you set up custom battles for a new challenge or just for fun.
  • Realistic 3D battlefields – Watch the fireworks as your forces clash with the enemy across landscapes ranging from jungles to deserts.
  • A mix of classic and exotic units - Will a Sherman tank stand up to a Warbeast?
  • Between battles – Build up your army, form battle groups, and research new weapons and abilities.

Opps bought the wrong unit. Now I can't earn any money. easiest ai starts with units I can't even begin to recruit, and you earn nothing for playing only winning. The Solution to making mistakes: spending money, make more mistakes? spend more money.

Didn't play for long, but I know a total grind fest, and toxic game environment when I see one. I don't think I need to say much more than, avoid this very mihandled game that could have been so much more.

Pre-Release Review
The game looks fun but as soon as you realize just how much grinding you'll have to do for nothing and just how much as a typical p2w title you will be completely dependant on buying some "gold" alternate currency. In addition to
being incredibly slow paced due to it's turn based gameplay you will be forced to endure grueling timespans of moving
units around the map. P2W games are an ever more frequent sight in the gaming market, but they are a plague to society
and to community. Make it stop.

ISOTX has stopped all development on this game to work on a new game. The servers will likely shutdown soon. This is exactly what they did for Iron Grip Marauders. It's probably what they will do for March of War: Face Off.

I don't trust the developers and you shouldn't either.
