first of all i hate the thumbs up thumbs down wish there was neutral button so............

this game does not suck, but it also is not amazing
it feels like the oregon trail looks like the oregon trail but i just felt like it was missing somthing

its fun for a first couple playthroughs killing your friends and what not but after that not a whole lot to offer
its a good time waster, but nothing to really get sucked into for hours on end

For what it's modeled after, this game is pretty good, It has all the spoof stuff there. The main Campaign was a bit easy and repetative after I got good at the (spoiler?) shootout minigame-quest-thing, but I would say I enjoyed the game. I wouldn't play the endless game mode, and I don't think I would play it again, but it was a fun zombie-filled drive with a shooting mechanic that I think was pretty unique.

Late into the game, an exiled priest asked me to massacre his former community of vegetarians.

I gladly obliged, only to be rewarded with a single bullet.

Organ Trail is a very fun game. And it's very comfy. But honestly, you're better off not buying this. The full game is riddled with bugs that'll make it freeze. I have never had that problem in the the flash game version. If you are seriously considering getting this, play the flash game first. If you still like that, consider if you're willing to wade through a heap of bull in the (pretty high) chance it locks up when you beat the game. This isn't even a rare occurence, this is a well known, reported, practically game breaking bug that has not been fixed in apparently months of it being known. And what does this version add over the flash game? Harder difficulties, but they're still pretty easy; Scavenging is absolutely overpowered even with the more difficult shooting controls. Extra content as far as picking what sprite your character uses, special buyable power ups, and unlockable starting vehicles. Plus, there's a minigame that's very similar to Spongebob's Boat-O-Cross. Not really a huge step up; the only major points are the new job system and being able to pick alternate routes at certain spots on the map. All in all, if you want to play, you should really just stick with the flash game unles you get this version cheap. Even so, be prepared to deal with lock ups.

If you want a good time waster and the feeling of a gritty, post-apocalyptic story, do not hesitate to buy this game. It's dark and melancholy, even with its colorful * bit graphics.

As stated in the reviews, this game isn't for everyone. It's not the best game by any means, but I thouroughly enjoyed it and played it many times over.

I played way more on mobile than the Steam version, but they're the exact same game. I recommend listening to the soundtrack, for I found it to be dark and enjoyable.

I usually really hate these fake retro games, especially ones with a "twist" like this, but I really like this game. The good thing about this game is that it is actually fun to play and it doen't just rely on the fake retro style for nostalgia. I am one of those people who grew up playing Oregon Trail in the computer lab at school (although the version I was familiar with was a later version of the game that this is based on) and this game does a good job recreating the feel of the original, and it actually improves on it. But this game is not simply a re-make of Oregon Trail either; although it is based on that game, it is also a new game itself.

I think it is definitely worth its price because it is fun and has a great replay value.

Did you enjoy getting typhoid when you played Origan Trial as a kid? No? How about becoming a zombie, does that sound good? This is a very well made game. It may just be a parody, but it does so many things right. Also, you can get a 'chevo for killing off everyone at the start of the game and beating it alone. I sugest doing this with the real person there so you can ♥♥♥♥ them off. If you want to get the most out of this game; get the DLC, it's totally worth it.

A great variation on the classic game Oregon Trail. Instead of heading west to start new cities and find Fame/Fortune, you are trying to escape the Zombie apocalypse and reach Safe Haven.

The game is about resource management and does a great job of staying true to the original, with fun variations. You travel with 4 friends in a crappy station wagon. Your car can be upgraded and repaired with spare parts when it breaks down. You can scavenge for food while avoiding and shooting zombies. And ofcourse Random things happen while on the Road, some bad and some funny.

Overall a fun game.
