In a world plagued by the undead, dysentry killed me the most.

A great variation on the classic game Oregon Trail. Instead of heading west to start new cities and find Fame/Fortune, you are trying to escape the Zombie apocalypse and reach Safe Haven.

The game is about resource management and does a great job of staying true to the original, with fun variations. You travel with 4 friends in a crappy station wagon. Your car can be upgraded and repaired with spare parts when it breaks down. You can scavenge for food while avoiding and shooting zombies. And ofcourse Random things happen while on the Road, some bad and some funny.

Overall a fun game.

If you don't own this, and you like either - Oregon Trail, or zombies, what the heck are you waiting for? Get it.

Very fun twist on the classic game. Thought it might be boring at first, but has more story than I expected, and plenty of easter eggs/collectibles/achievements. Even better to name the characters after people you know in real life.

If you loved the DOS Oregon Trail that was out about 26 years ago and crave the nostalga, then this is for you. The ending is anti-climatic, but I find myself playing it over and over anyway, loving all the extra goodies you can unlock and have fun with. A helpful tip would be to scavenge often in low danger zones, it gives you stuff to trade ad buy supplies later. Worth every penny.

There is no f*cking around with this game, you got to really buckle down and get your $#it in order. It is ruthless. If on easy mode, the average length you would go is to maybe just past halfway, depends on how the game is feeling that day. It is very unpredictable, and your whole crew can die in a fraction of a second. If you hit a bump when someone is ill, then it's the end of the world, zeus rains bolts of lighting, the sky falls, it is over for that person. On the contrary, the game, is fun, but challenging as holding in fart when you need to cough.

On sale, this is a great casual game. You manage a group of survivors who are trying to get to safety in an apocalyptical America. You have options of buying things from towns but most of the game takes place driving (AKA waiting) for random events to occur. Random events can include a variety of scenarios which often involve similar gameplay (shooting zombies or avoiding things while driving). There are three bosses but the gameplay does not differ from non-bosses except they're bigger enemies. Do not go into the game expecting something new. This is literally a clone of Oregon Trail with updated features. So why not buy Oregon Trail? Because it's on floppy disks.

Kind of a funny concept, but it loses that appeal quickly. Can't recommend this one.

The controls are atrocious.

I either lack the brains to aim and can't find a keybind for a menu, or the game is trash.

Pretty cool take on a classic. Lots to do and see, with some fun achievements. Nothing crazy but overall its pretty fun. I didn't realize how many hours I spent on it.

This game is for 2 kinds of people, those who have played Oregon trail back in the day and those who haven't. Seems simple but it’s actually very difficult with all things considered. Having to keep your food rations, medkits, vehicle repaired, ammo and with all the towns seemingly random in what they have it gets kinda crazy.

A good $5 game to share with your friends. Multi-player might have been nice, but still fun nontheless.
