Awesome reading experience.

This is a digital book taking you to behind the scenes of the game development and take you inside the studio during development of game. It tells you about concepts that were never made to final game also it show panoramic views of the inside of island.There are many videos and the nice interactive music mixer and instrument playing and nice collection of artworks.

Partly recommended buy, BUT it comes with quite some issues:

- videos get streamed from youtube! Which obviously means you can't watch them without internet connection.
- the interface is really annoying. No scaling options for the text, the "book" always goes fullscreen, but only takes a quarter of the screen, the "ingame" videos don't have basic options like a pause button.
- the readability of some text is plain awful.

If you like the game, and you're interested in some more content about it, i'd say it's worth the 0.49 on sale (or 1.99 regular). The delivered content is very good, the price is absolutely okay, but sadly the streamed videos, and especially the interface, is annoying and unnecessary.
Therefore i would highly recommend it if those issues wouldn't exist.

Really informative Digital Book, especially on how the creative team nearly hit the failure wall... then how the idea appeared and transformed into one of the very best games of the last decade. With videos presented by Chuck, and pieces Lara IRL (or the actress who gave her her shapes and voice).

This was a great read. The book contains extra info on how the game was built up, how the developers started with many ideas, a horroristic game with monsters, and how they ended up with a survival story. It was a long road and you can find many interesting concept arts about this in the book. If you're really into the game, you'll surely enjoy seeing all the awesome behind the scenes stuff.
