Extraordinary, once you learn it!
To be honest at the beginning i thought this game was rubbish. It's tutorial explains very few details of the game and you have to spend many hours playing it alone to find out, learn and use every perspective of the game. If i was asked to give a rating for its tutorial i would be lenient if i was giving 0/10! Uber Entertainment
needs to remake the whole tutorial section of the game from the beginning.HOWEVER
Once i played this game with a friend, a friend who was the person who donated the game to me and i thank him so much for that (Thank you Adam :D !!!!!), and saw the video tutorials he made, i managed to fully understand it!
The combination of base building, creating huge robotic armies, fighting, travelling to other planets, advancing technologically is so greatly and carefully designed that i cannot find anything negative to mention!
Let's analyze it a bit more.
You begin with your faction's Commander, the strongest and most important unit of all, on an uninhabited planet where you need to fight and destroy your opponent's Commander to win the game. The Commander is the strongest unit of your army, "he" is a huge robot and can both fight and build. Starting the game your Commander needs to build asap
a strong infrastructure (energy and metal) and fortification (defensive weapons and towers) system around your base while he constructs as many as possible unit creation buildings.
While your Commander is fortifying your base, you are in need of defensive and scout units in order to face and detect the quickly developed enemy base. That's the point when skirmish battles between you and your opponent will start in order to check each other's base limits, power and determination! In the meanwhile, you both secretly try to develop a massive and strong robotic army to encounter your opponent's efforts.
In the mid game fun starts :D
You are 15-20 minutes in game and you have now access to all available technologies and buildings. That's the point when you need to consider your migration to another planet of your Solar System and your need of a satellite around your main planet so that you have a full idea of your opponents moves! And indeed, you need to hurry as you don't want your opponent to capture a planet before you do or to gain an advantage in your race towards the nuclear domination! At this point you need to pay attention for any incoming nuclear missiles from your opponent's side as they do a massive damage and only 1 successful hit is able to delay you and result to your fast defeat.
Intensity is really big and the multiplayer games will keep you going for many hours!
It is indeed an expensive game but if you are a fan of the kind, it will become your daily entertainment ;)
Worth buying it!
Total Rating: 9/10 because of its extremely poor tutorial
