About This Game

Colonize solar systems, annihilate homeworlds, and exterminate your foes in epic interplanetary battles with multiple players and thousands of units. Planetary Annihilation takes strategy gaming to a never-before-seen scale -- and gives players powerful tools to control the action.

Blow up everything, anywhere; dominate with punishing spacecraft, robots, and other futuristic machines of war. Arm asteroids and send them on planet-destroying collision courses. And take over an entire galaxy in a dynamic single-player mode with procedurally generated content. Don’t just win, annihilate!

Key Features Include:

  • Epic Single-Player - Galactic War is a twist on traditional real-time strategy campaigns that has players battling across a dynamic galaxy filled with procedurally-generated content. Every playthrough is different. Annihilation is final.
  • Epic Multiplayer - Play with up to ten friends (or enemies) in massive free-for-all and team-based matches.
  • Spectate - Spectate matches with a suite of incredible viewing options.
  • Advanced Command And Control - With intuitive drags and clicks, seamlessly switch between planets, mine resources, create custom unit formations, or pulverize armies.
  • Dynamic Picture-In-Picture - View and interact with your units on another planet in a second window as you focus and control the action in your primary view.
  • Instant Replays - View in-match recordings in real-time while matches are in progress. See when a battle turned by rewinding the game to any point or check out the entire match after a game ends.
  • Smash Planets - Don’t just win, annihilate. End games with the mother of all weapons: an asteroid on a collision course.

Anyone whos followed this game from kickstarter to today are probably very depressed seeing what graced Steam's front page today.

♥♥♥♥ you Uber... just ♥♥♥♥ you.

I don't know why this cash-grab you call Titans was a surprise for me.

Before today I was an optimist, I had faith in the gaming industry but Uber just killed what small faith I had left.

From someone who played Supreme Commander for hundreds of hours on FAF, this money grab couldn't have been more of a dissapointment. Additionally, new DLC has been released with content that should have been in the game from the start effectively giving all of us who bought it early more to be upset about.

This developer has gone a very dishonest route by releasing a "standalone addon" that includes patches and upgrades to functionality that had been promised for this game, but has not been provided.

I had held reviewing this product until this new release, hoping the developer would fulfill their promises and obligations even though they had released PA early and incomplete. I now hold no such hope or illusion, they have abandoned PA and all the supporters whom had paid good money. They used a very deceitful way to re-release the same product with a patch and get rid of the negative reviews. At this time there is nothing to prevent them getting this negative review. They have decided to hide the negative reviews they got for this product by making a new product and calling it a standalone addon but it is nothing more than a somewhat patched version of this game with features that had been promised for this game.

The developer should release PA: Titans to everyone whom already owned PA during the Early Access period. Anything less is a dishonest and deceitful tactic.
Valve should be held equally culpable for this deceitful and dishonest business activity.

DO NOT BUY.

When this game first came out on steam, in early access, it was 90 dollarydoos. But this amount of money from everyone wasn't enough for the developers, so they decided they weren't going to release all the promised features they had promised on kickstarter / elsewhere.

Then they tried to do another kickstarter for another game (called Human Resources) after deciding they were going to abandon this one so soon, but that kickstarter rightly failed, since everyone lost trust in this developer.

After that attempt to jew the customers failed, they decided to work on planetary annihalation again. But wait! They weren't updating the base game, oh no. They were releasing the new standalone, Planetary Annihalation: Titans! But they wanted everyone who already owned PA to buy this "new" game, so they decided to offer a "discount" for people who own this version of PA!

Here is what you're paying for if you buy Titans:

"It includes new units, including 5 new TITAN class units, new maps with new CSG to play with in the editor, a new gameplay mode called "Bounty Mode", a playable tutorial for new players, as well as new balance for Multiplayer, Skirmish, and Galactic War!"

Singleplayer "campaign" in both games is a joke, and it's just you playing against bots in a series of randomized skirmish matches, but the bots have access to every unit while you are gimped in what you can use.

Planets are the size of peas.

Game is an unoptimized pile of crap.

Do not buy Uber Entertainment games.
