NOTE: I have not seen many episodes of the TV Show to compare this game to it. I will be reviewing the game based on the gameplay I got out of this game.

I don't know where to begin with this game. This is a game based off of the TV show of the same name (minus the Special Edition(s) part). I went into the game expecting a game with some kind of weird / unlikeable host and alright gameplay. I was wrong about both. The host was actually alright for me, although I do see some people in the Steam reviews complain about him. It was the gameplay that ruined it. Don't get me wrong the game functioned fine, it's just the mouse lagged a ton. I have a computer that can run games like Euro Truck Simulator 2 and Gary's Mod fine, but not this game. I don't know if it is my fault or not. Anyways the rules of the game are get 15 questions right and you win the million, not complicated. I think the questions are broken though. They seemed to ask really hard questions early on, and that resulted in me getting fast game overs. Another big issue is the fact that the load times inbetween the menu and the actual game are roughly 2 minutes long. That is way too long every game. Do not buy this game unless it is less than two dollars, which is unlikely to happen. I paid 5 dollars and I feel I payed way to much.

The game is pretty good for what it is . However the fact that none of the DlCs are available in my country or even that they are DLCs is a huge bone kill . Get it when its on sale and make sure the DLCs are available in your country . Never feels good when you have to go through other means to get parts of a game you paid for.

If you've ever wanted to see someone walk away with $0, now you can do it and get an achievement for it!
Too bad the host is annoying as hell.

10/10 would walk away again

This is a great trivia game that was is enjoyable all the way to the end. The questions varied from really hard to really simple, it just depends on your knowledge of the subject. The only thing that got annoying in this game was the narrator and guy who was sitting across from you the whole time. This is an easy game to 100% in regards to achievements. You can use Google to help you with some of the questions and I found that to be fun also since learning new things was fun and this brought up some interesting things to read about. To get 100% achievements you will need to play this game and get to the million dollar question a couple times to be able to do what is required. It was a really enjoyable game and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a trivia game that covers various subjects at random.

A fair implementation of the original US game. Some comments:

- Questions skew harder than the TV show in my estimation, but not too badly.
- Lifelines are mostly useless but it's fine they have them I suppose
- Multiplayer isn't. It is hotseat and is really just 1-4 people playing the game one at a time with different questions.
- The online leaderboards were empty. Sort of defeats the purpose.

On a more important note, the announcer is annoying and there is no way to skip through the (often very long) sequences between or before questions. You also can't see what your money total is while on a question, so it's easy enough to forget where you are in the game money-wise (they do show what question you are on however as in 10/15.)

I've played better implementations of this online for free, so at full price this is a poor value. I bought at half off and still feel this wasn't great value for money.

TLDR: reasonably good depiction of the original US TV show, OK questions, fairly slow paced and poor implementation decisions overall.

What else could you ask from a Trivia game? The highscores are hardly working and the local multiplayer is just a pass around multiplayer that I don't see to be very fun unless you hook up a controller and pass it around the room. But its still a trivia game none the less.

I play this game when i'm mostly eating, laying down, or want something in the background I can mess with when doing other work. There is no time limit on questions and its a very easy running game on your processesing as well as it only being about 400-500 mbs. Other reviews here say they don't like the game host. He is poorly done and annoying but I already knew that from playing the European version. I, majority of the time, mute the music and play my own when relaxing and answering questions. It has plenty of trivia, with the amount of hours I have played, I have only come across maybe 1-2 repeats from the 1-$500 questions only. The downside that I would have to say is that there is only 1 DLC as of Nov 1 2014 which is movies, when the European version has about 6-7.

All in all, its a great game for being just a trivia game and I recommend this to anyone who loves trivia and can restrain themselves from using google to cheat for the answers. Fun when you have friends over that are movie buffs or general knowledge buffs. 7/10

Side note: The questions have been slightly skewed compared to the European version. However, they word the questions in a way that I think make it harder for people to google the answers. A lot of times its fairly sucessful.

Well the main bad part about this game is that there are NO SPECIAL EDITIONS IN THE GAME. The only special edition is the movie edition, and that costs $3 to get. Aside from that, no other editions. Just Millionaire and the movie DLC. The game itself is pretty decent though. It's not bad, but it's also not great. The host is kind of bothersome, the question difficulty is a bit above average compared to normal Millionaire, the lifelines (minus 50-50) can screw up sometimes and get you wrong (more than real-life Millionaire), and the game just doesn't feel right at times. It may just be me, but I don't exactly know. For now, I don't recommend this to anyone unless you like Millionaire a lot, like I do, and are getting this during a sale.

I'm only recommending this because it is far superior to the American version on TV right now. I mean, it's a fun trivia game and all, but it's mostly riding on nostalgia points for me.
