New Build 1.2 - Comeback Bombardment

Big update today featuring a whole new mechanic for the game! We've added a new ultimate power that charges up as your buildings take damage and will allow you to comeback from small mistakes early on.

Features
  • Added a new mechanic: Comeback Bombardment. As you take damage and your buildings are destroyed you can bombardment power, displayed on the top of the screen. When your meter is full you can call in a bombardment on your enemy by pressing space. The enemy buildings nearest your airship will be targeted. This is to prevent small mistakes in the beginning costing you the game and to provide for more dynamic and surprising matches. We will likely be tuning this going forward.
  • Tweaked random building select to not pick bank and mountain maker so often
  • Tweaked random map select to force more variety

Tuning:
  • Shields now completely absorb Frost Tower shots
  • Increased frost tower level 2 cost to 60 from 55
  • Increased frost tower cooldowns by 1 second per level
  • Lowered warhead life to 10/15/20 from 15/20/25

Fixes:
  • Fixed crash on OSX Yosemite when spacebar was pressed
  • On mac, non-xbox 360 Gamepads should behave better
  • Fix for rare case where an orphaned lobby would impede matchmaking

As always let us know what you think!

A very addicting and well crafted game.

There aren't a lot of players online, so if you try to do ranked you will be mathched up vs either Gort or Watson, two ranked bots programmed into the game.

At first ranked will be easy as you climb the ladder, you only get a tiny amount of points for winningm but you lose billions of points for defeats, so If you play for an hour straight and only won, ONE DEFEAT WILL TAKE ALL OF IT AWAY.

Ranked needs to be fixed and ballancing might have to occur. Overall, there needs to be more players.

BUY THIS GAME but do yourself a favor and stay away from ranked until more people are active and the elo system is adjusted.

Cannon Brawl is worth buying if you've enjoyed playing the Worms franchise over the years, and are looking for something new added to the formula.

Its somethinh very special because normally these kind of games ar turned based but this one isn't, what means that there's always something to do: booting up your shields, firing your tons of difrent type of turrets or extending your territory. games can be fast past with armor breatching attacks or can be very stratigic and extremly exciting. the only thing i hope from this game is that when it finishes it doesn't become on of the many pay-to-win games, please developers don't do microtransactions.

Very fun, highly recommend for same-screen competitive battling. Sort of a light RTS mixed with tower-trajectory style gameplay. It's not super deep but I easily got my time and money's worth.

This is a really solid game that mixes the artillery and RTS genres together perfectly. It cuts out all of the wait time normally associated with an artillery type of game and replaces it with RTS elements. This makes for a much more fast paced and enjoyable experience that still retains the fun of angling shots over long distances to hit enemies.

Excellent, absolutely love it. 8.8 / 10

A friend introduced me to Cannon Brawl and we played at work, since then i bought and played and loved every bit. There is a slight unbalance in terms of the weaponary, and i feel is lacking the amount of sheer insanity that Worms has as a similar game. That aside, I urge you to purchase and support this game. Very well made, very well managed from what i can see from the devs taking on feedback, and very well executed.

Build towers and launch weapons or defenses with them. Minor resourse accumulation, major land destruction. You need to protect and attack land as much as buildings, enough said, this game is awesome and over quickly. Kill the main castle at the back of the base FTW.

Kind of like an real-time strategy version of Worms! It's really good fun and there is quite a bit of depth to the strategy side of it. I think playing in the online ranked matches is going to give this game a long life. Check out my video for gameplay and impression on the game:

This game is a ton of fun! It's like Worms + an RTS. Really fast-paced and a lot of variable strategy to win.

Cannon Brawl.

It's a good game. Soundtrack is really good, art is fine as wine, and playableitiy is good.

Runs okay, game is capped at 60, but setting menu leaves a lot to be desired. For resolution, you get fullscreen on/off.
That's it.

Game does provide a nice portion of challenge and it nicely guides into it, through the campaign.
The story, or what is there of it, is fairly nice, for me it seems like there are even some gurren laggan references? Though that might just be me.

in the end, it's a very nice tug of war. And my only complaint is tat 15E is a bit much. More like 10E.

This game is great. My friends and I have been playing it since the greenlight prelease on Steam and it's amazing. It has a great blend of twitch/strategy, the art is excellent, perhaps the only thing I can think of that would improve the game is enabling 4 player so that I could get my other good friend in on our brawl sessions.

a fun 2D side scrolling "tower defence" game. made for children but enjoyable by a large range of people. It is also a test of speed and strategy as well. Theres a large selection of towers and characters with perks and a unlock system to get more. Check it out so you have more of idea, but I do reccomend it.

This is a super fun real-time scorched-earth-like game. Especially multiplayer.

But the placement of buildings can be awkward at times, with some buildings preventing others from being placed easily.

And, sometimes it will pair you up with 'Gort' who isn't a human player even though you didn't choose to fight an AI.

Cannon Brawl is a lively and hillarious game mix of RTS and Worms. It's such a fun game, I just highly recommend it. Since i t's only in pre-alpha, who knows how good it will be in the full version. Only downside to thisgame isthe sometimes...bland, humor. Itrepeats quite a lot of jokes, and the taunts before around are just bland. Either way, I highly recommend it! As in get it now or I will haunt your souls. You heard me Tacoma.
