A very good game, the combat is great, the ghraphics are amazing and the detail is stunning. you could fight any character without knowing what you are doing, I must say the last level is hard, but aren't they all? No issues whatsoever in this game, except for one, (SPOILER) on the last level before facing the shredder and his goons you have time to go into a secret place after hacking the door, there are 2 pizzas, 4 grenades and one EMP, I do not know if this is just me or my machine but I can't pick up the pizza on the right side of the room with any of the characters. That really scraped my scabbard )-:<. But all in all it's a good game and if you're a turtle fan you must get this game.
It would be cool if there were costumes or skins though.

Generally I really like this game - could easily be my favourite TMNT game along side the old arcade jamma cabinet title. I came across a few bugs (like making a character roll and it glitched me into a background area) but they maybe fixed by now because I've not come across them again.

It's important to add that Alt is your friend when pulling off moves. The training instructions neglect to acknowledge this vital key which you need for the special moves when playing with keyboard.

There's no working online system for this game. Matchmaking does not work, and there is no way to connect to friends through steam or in-game. No console either so you cannot use a command to connect to an IP. Game is garbage on single player because the bots don't do ♥♥♥♥ and aren't fun to play with. Seriously Activision wtf...

It's a must-have for any TMNT fan. The game itself is great and stays true to the series without any redesign besides the obvious visual changes made to the turtles (which honestly aren't that bad). Certain game mechanics like counter-attacking can be clunky, but is forgivable based on the plethora of old-school style combos (Think original Street Fighters and MK), comedic team attacks, and a rather in-depth upgrade system (Which is completely unexpected for a Turtles game). Aside from upgrading combos, attack abilities, and passive skills, you can also have Donatello construct gadget weapons for each of the turtles, adding another fun dimension to the game.

This game comes across to me as a mix of old-school fighters, arcade beat-em-ups, and modern batman-esque fighting mechanics and upgrade system.

I haven't personally tried the co-op, though I imagine it will still be fun as I've managed to overcome many of the game's shortcomings as a polished game.

I wish that the game had been completed a little better, but overall it is WAY more than I ever expected to see in a TMNT game and I hope that there are more like it in the future.

I don't understand all the negative posts... It may not be the game of the century... but it is an awesome game for all the Turtles-Fans out there who are looking for cool Turtles-game. I like it very much... and giving the fact that there are not a loooooot of playable Turtles-Games out there any more... it is most certanly worth a try!!!!!

this game was not what i expected. I expected this game to be cool and action packed. With killing ninjas left and right. What i got was the worst game ever. half the time your figuring out where to go and get lost for hours the other half your talking to yourself. The fighting is also really bad its akward. the combos are dumb and it feels akward and not fun

Very fun game solo but co-op is the reason I bought the game for both my wife and I in the first place and to this day it still does NOT work. Sure, there is a work around solution to somewhat fix it but stats are not saved. I shouldn't have to use a workaround (figured out by gamers, not something the company released) PLUS play the entire game in one sitting seeing as though the workaround only saves stats on the host's side. Some of us have lives. My wife and I have two children so we can normally find an hour here, thirty minutes there or something of that nature.

Activision's website still says "Note: Players cannot join a Private match in the PC version of TMNT: Out of the Shadows at this time. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope to have this resolved in an upcoming patch." I wish I would have seen this or known this before buying the game on sale (Gamestop's website). Just be warned. If you're playing solo, pick it up. Otherwise, save your money.

The game doesn't support multiplayery. So it's good if you don't have friends and just want to play by yourself.

Teenagers Turtles is a mix between Saints Row 2 and Sleeping Dogs, with better graphism but suckier gameplay. The fights are also boring.
