About This Game

What Happened to the Humans?

Set in a post-apocalyptic world strewn with cast-off machines, Primordia tells the story of Horatio Nullbuilt, a stoic robot who values his solitude and independence. Horatio spends his days studying the Book of Man, sparring with his droid companion Crispin, and tinkering with the airship they call home — a peaceful existence that becomes threatened when a rogue robot steals the energy source that the pair needs to survive.

When Horatio and Crispin’s search for energy brings them to the dazzling city of Metropol, the simple quest to recover their stolen power core leads to unexpected discoveries about Horatio’s origins and a new understanding of the legendary humans who walked the earth before him.

A few years late to this game but it absolutely holds up. Great point and click adventure. Great story. The way I see it if cost is prohibative is that a movie costs more than this game but you'll get more time out of this game than a film.

This game is inspired. If you like realistic sci-fi stories then buy this. Primordia is thought-provoking and engrossing from start to finish. So few games can build up hype and then exceed your expectations, but for me Primordia did. This game starts with great art and characters, then weaves a deep world full of inspired lore, and closes with some encounters that left me marveling at the game's writing. Without spoiling anything, I was not expecting the dialogue in the antagonist encounter to be that effective and it completely caught me off-guard.

My only complaint is that there were one or two places where click-able objects weren't clear enough. The actual puzzles all make sense and they range from simple crafting to serious lateral thinking. Also I suppose the game would have benefitted from a few additional animations for some of the weightier plot moments, but that's forgiveable.

Can't recommend this game enough.

This is a cool game!:
> fab art
> fab puzzles
> amazing and witty script
> interesting plot themes, character development, and character dynamics
> multiple endings & plot pathways

If you're into point-and-click adventure games like Machinarium and Gemini Rue, this is probably your jam.

An excellent point-and-click. Truly engaging characters and top-notch storytelling. There's a constant hinting at a rich backstory which fits perfectly into the narrative. It hooked me from the start and I basically just plowed through it from the moment I installed it. I wished it could have gone on and on in spite of the wonderfully satisfying ending(s). Just looking at the images on the store page makes me miss the bleak yet beautifully drawn landscapes and locales.

It's a nice little adventure game, kind of short, but gets the point across. The setting is really interesting in my opinion.

Great story. Great atmosphere. Great characters. Great voice acting. Steam achievements. Replayability. I'd love to see a version with updated graphics as that would be unmissable. Just grab it. 9.8/10.

I've reached a point where I trust WadjetEye published games to be awesome stories with mechanics that enhance the experience and don't get in the way. This was no exception. It's a great game, has great characters, a story that keeps you thinking, and and ending that came too soon. Hope Wormwood Studios does a follow up some day.

This is what a point-and-click adventure should be. Story, characters, dialogue, challenging puzzles, atmosphere, art style. The only bad thing about this game is that it eventually ends. Until that point, it is an absolute treasure.

The banter between Horatio and Crispin is probably the best part of the story. Anyone who was ever a fan of the classic Lucasarts point-and-click adventures should get this game at once.

If Asimov wrote/designed video games, I imagine he would have come up with something like this.
