Reviews

"Zen has risen to the challenge of creating a video game that truly emulates that old school feel. Not just of the vibe of the game, but the weight of the table, both physically and mentally"
Fanboy Comics

"In a sense Marvel Pinball is the best mix of comic books and retro and modern gaming."
IGN 8/10

This one is a mixed bag. Iron man is terrible. Nothing good to say about this table.

Blade is fun and I enjoyed it. Spider man table is very good as well. Wolverine table is a little on the hard side but a fun table. Overall its a solid game of pinball.

WARNING: Since May 12, 2015 you can't play this anymore without accepting a disgusting EULA which essentially changes this into spyware. They even did it after the fact to anyone who bought it when there was no EULA at all (which is illegal at least in Europe). They promised a solution, but never gave one, even after four months have passed now.

Personally I only find 3 of the tables worth while in this pack.

Spiderman table has decent events and layout. 8/10
Fantastic 4 table very good events and decent layout. 8.5/10
Ironman table had decent layout but lacked content. 7/10
Blade table has almost no layout and lacked content. 6/10
Civil War table actually had a story progression to it which was interesting but the layout left me wanting. 6/10
Wolverine table was by far the most disappointing, poor layout, uneventful and lacked content, very poor voice acting across the board. Wolverine himself being the worst. Voice sounded like he should be a weather reporter. 5/10

I recommend it at a sale price.

I like all the tables in this pack, but none of them are good for beginners.

Wolverine - This table is short and plays very fast. The theming is good, showing a lot of Wolverine's classic enemies. Flow decent, but not exceptional. Scoring is moderate. Rating: B+

Blade - The day/night cycle theme is a lot of fun and basically leads to playing two tables. Table design feels quite segmented. Flow is not very good. Scoring is moderate. Rating: A-

Iron Man - Infamous for being a low scoring table, this is one that I like quite a bit for one of the minor things it does. When modes and multi-balls are activated the entire lane you're supposed to hit lights up, making it simple to figure out where you need to shoot. This is a feature I wish more Zen tables did. Flow is horrible. Rating: C-

Spider Man - This table has good flow and is relatively easy to hit where you're shooting. This would be a good table for beginners if it weren't for the upper-table area, which is very tight and challenging. This is the highest scoring table in Zen because of how the table saves your all-time best set-up for Wizard Mode. Theming is good overall, and the Mysterio modes are a lot of fun. Table graphic design feels a little cheap. Rating: A-

The Spider-Man table is definitely broken at this point, shoot the ball hard into the "Skillshot" area in the upper right and it's stuck, even tilting the table doesn't help you are forced to resart the table. Shame because it's a nice table.

That's the only bug I've found so far, but that's also the only talbe I've really played also.

Most of the tables are good fun expect Spiderman. The spiderman board has a issue where the ball gets stuck and you have to escape out of it and restart the game.

The ball keeps getting stuck in the upper right part of the table every time now. I'm not sure what this glitch is. Being an old pinball player, my instict is to smack the side opf the table. Can't do that to loosen the ball or a 2000$ PC goes in the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Please fix it
