It's a blast when you have people over, because everybody knows how to play Pinball, and Pinball FX 2 is bar none, the best I've played without a coin-slot.

I'm a big fan of this pack. I love 3 tables, and like the 4th.

Rome - This is an incredibly low scoring table, and it's very technically challenging. The primary modes are generally poor and drains are common. It's also one of my favorites. The ramps shaped like Aquaducts are maybe my favorite piece of any Zen table. The rest of the theming is a lot of fun with the Catapults and Trireme. The kickbacks are easy to activate which is important because you'll be using them a lot. Rating: A-

Pasha - Another table that I love the theme of, but not as big of a fan of the table layout. The table is rather short and the ball is hidden from player view making reaction shots with the upper flippers difficult. I like a lot of the modes. Scoring is on the low side of Moderate. Rating: B+

Secrets of the Deep - The first thing about this table to note is that the upper table and the lower table are essentially two different tables and you need to be viewing the table in such a way that you can track the upper table (which makes modes 1 and 1w poor IMO for this table). The modes are cool, and the theming is fun. Some modes are difficult because it's not very evident how to succeed. Scoring is Moderate. Rating: B

Biolab - This table flows very quickly, which can sometimes be a problem because the ball is often hidden from view making reaction shots difficult. The "build a monster" mad scientist theme is whimsically fun. Scoring is Moderate. Rating: C+

Very good choice to start your pinball adventure! Better than Zen Classics in my opinion.

Rome and Pasha are regular, decent quality tables. Biolab is innovative and really fun to play. Secrets of the Deep are a little more difficult, but fun nonetheless.

Fantasy Pinball with a plethera of tables to choose from. Pinball FX is the best at what it does and Zen does the genre justice by continiously raising the bar with each new table. With solid physics and a variety of different themes, these offerings make this game good for players of all skill levels.

Pinball FX2 has managed to grab my money on every system I own. For the money, they offer some of the best value in replay out there today. Do yourself a favor and give this a go; you're going to find at least tables you can and will enjoy.
