I am a huge fan of Nancy Drew Games, having played them for almost 16 years. I've played almost all of them. (haven't played 7 Ships, Trail/Twister, Deadly Device)
Right from the original Secrets Can Kill with its original 2 CDs (yup 2 of them were needed to hold a whopping 16 mb of RAM :D ) up to Thornton Hall. I am a huge fan of the earlier ND games so I wasn't sure if I'd like the newest ones

I must say that HI has outdone itself with this game.
This was one of the best ND games I've played in quite awhile. I wasn't sure if HI was able to pull it off after Waverly Academy (seriously had my doubts about that one too but HI proved me wrong there as well!) but they did it again!

Talk about atmosphere! It had the type of scares that actually made my stomach churn.. and that's not an easy task. It had the old fashioned, creepy scares of Haunted Mansion (with WAY better voice acting) , a variety of interesting puzzles that ranged from easy to hard (and with helpful hints for those of us that are puzzle challenged, bless you HI!). There were plenty of places to explore for those of us who are rather nosy.O and the story?? I loved it! You actually felt for the folks in the story and really wanted to help them all out. Good job HI

It's a point-and-click game with easy and hard detective settings. If I am correct, I believe there are 3 endings.
I played on a Windows 7. 3gb RAM. Intel core 2 Duo PC @ 2.33 GHz and it didn't feel 'heavy ' on my PC
I finished it in about 15 hours but I played the easy setting with loads of hints.

4 1/2 out of 5 stars

PS I have Amnesia but I hate it and would trade Amneisa for a Nancy Drew Game in a heartbeat

I've been playing Nancy Drew games since about 2001, and I've played almost all of them. This one looked particularly good to me from the trailer, and it did not disappoint. It wasn't as challenging as some others (Crystal Skull comes to mind) but it was not overly easy either. I also enjoyed the plot, and the ability to choose how it ended (to a degree) was quite interesting. Overall, I'd probably put it in my top 5 ND games.

Love all of HerInteractive's ND games. They're all done beautifully. This game is no exception, however it is one of the more frightening ones for wusses like me. Still beat it all the same lol. Great game.

I am fond of the Nancy Drew games, and I enjoyed playing this one. The story was intriguing, and I loved the supernatural elements in this game. The puzzles were challenging, and the characters were interesting. If you are a fan of the Nancy Drew games I would highly recommend this game.
