I've played Nancy Drew games for as long as I can remember. I still have my original copy of "Secrets Can Kill". (Not the remastered one. That original, old as ♥♥♥♥ one, ya'll.)

The newer games in recent years have really advanced, in my opinion. In a good way. This game, among the newer releases I mentioned, takes the top thus far. Although there are some classic oldies for me that could never be replaced (Ghost Dogs of Moon Lake, The Final Scene, Curse of Blackmoor Manor, etc.) Ghost of Thornton Hall took the best qualities of past games and added a few new concepts that improved the overall story-telling.

This game's story in particular was beautifully detailed and dark. I adored the character development as well as the plethora of interesting but disturbed personalities. For God's sake, HARPER. I love you, you batty, un-bathed, fume-inhaling woman!

The history that drove this game is unmatched, in my opinion. Although I'm sure other games provide more "reading", the quality and context of the reading in this one didn't JUST help with solving puzzles, but added to the atmosphere and overall enjoyment of the play through.

I loved the ghostly encounters and [SPOILER ALERT] being able to choose how the game ends (to a certain degree). It was a clever installment and an irresistible plot. I look forward to more NDs like this in the future.

I've been playing Nancy Drew games since about 2001, and I've played almost all of them. This one looked particularly good to me from the trailer, and it did not disappoint. It wasn't as challenging as some others (Crystal Skull comes to mind) but it was not overly easy either. I also enjoyed the plot, and the ability to choose how it ended (to a degree) was quite interesting. Overall, I'd probably put it in my top 5 ND games.

Love all of HerInteractive's ND games. They're all done beautifully. This game is no exception, however it is one of the more frightening ones for wusses like me. Still beat it all the same lol. Great game.

I am fond of the Nancy Drew games, and I enjoyed playing this one. The story was intriguing, and I loved the supernatural elements in this game. The puzzles were challenging, and the characters were interesting. If you are a fan of the Nancy Drew games I would highly recommend this game.
