Kinda boring I mean you can't really build the city you can only create transportation. I'd recommend Cities: Skylines instead.

Great game. Tips: Should be able to create transfer metro stations that are in very close proximity to provide smooth transfers. Metro madness - should be able to have control cars on each end of the train when customizing. Other than that, pretty good

did you ever buy a game, play it for 11 minutes and then decide life is too short? That's me here on Cities in Motion 2... hate to be shallow, and if you are a fanboy this review has to irritate you, but i just got repelled by the whole thing despite wanting, in that DOS retro mode, to get into this... now what? is it fun to micromanage which direction public transit flows? so i recommend this game ironically because it is exactly what it is == you with infinite human longevity will enjoy the minutia of determining which way the city bus maximizes its exit flow from the city? i admit i could have passed on sayinng anything but i almost re-downloaded this for another go and immediately remembered why i didnt reinstall this on my last PC.

this game has a few bugs just like all games but some of them are terrible such as:

1)when building a piece of road or metro track to an existing road or metro track, the arrows that point to the direction that the line is heading towards suddenly dissapears until the nearest stop is deleted or a vehcile o that line goes onto that piece of road or tack.

CONS:Instead of fixing the bugs they decided introduce some DLC & they stopped development of the game is early 2015 so that they could start developing their latest game: Cities Skylines. TBH I think they only made this game & some DLC so that they could fund development of cities skylines which turned out to be much much worse than this game due to terrible traffic physics.

PRO's:Able to change the timetable of transport routes that you tender (You Cannot Un-Tender any services such as bus lines or tram lines.
Able to Gain & Loose MONEY
has a PARAMETER EDITOR
has a MAP EDITOR
has a SCENARIO EDITOR
has MAPS larger than Sim City 2013
has a TILT SHIFT EFFECT
allows you to buy upto 10 vehciles at any single time (Can be changed with parameters upto 30)

VERY ADDICTIVE as this stopped me from playing the addictive PRISON ARCHITECT.

Quite different from Sim City 4 and Paradox's Cities Skylines. This game I found quite enjoyable despite my lack of interest relating to the management of mass transit systems. Overall managing and building the lines and routs for your mass transit systems isn't all too bad. The only issue I have with this game is that the random requests from citizens and challenges can seem bizzare when then only benifit a small block of your city's transit line.

The UI had me squinting a couple of times, the camera controls were unnecessarily fiddly, but the level of attention to making your routes etc. work is quite impressive, however it's too much for my tiny little mind. If you enjoy making timetables and planning out routes for angry bus drivers, this is the game for you. If you enjoy games that are actually fun and entertaining, look elsewhere.

A transportation-system-building game with more depth than a good city-building game.

I have mixed feelings for this game. Its hard when you first get into it but after you've mastered everything this game is an easy 7/10. It could have been a 7 but i think that it can get boring and repetative after some time.
Worth the price tho!!

(EDIT)If anyone is reading this now...... i recommend you save up for simcity instead

100% City Coverage by trams
Replace all roads with pedestrian roads
Charge people 300 for tram passes, regardless what zones
Making 600,000/week estimated
0 Reputation, but people take your vehicles anyways, because your their only means of transportation.

Congratulations, you just took over the city with public transportation, and there's nothing they can do about it.

Jokes aside, this game is my "I'm bored, What do I mindlessly do for the next 1~3 hours?" game.

Ahh so much potential. So many bugs. Let me start by saying this is a game that would get a solid 8/10 if the developers had spent just a few more days polishing this off. Want to scroll around the map with the mouse? Too bad. Like a useful tutorial? Nien. Want to connect two metro lines together? ♥♥♥♥♥ you. Made a mistake about 50k$ ago designing that highway? No Undo. Time to load that save from a million years ago. When Chris Saywer made the ambrosia that is RollerCoaster Tycoon, he understood that you wanted to design a path - AND THEN pay for it. This was figured out in 1999 guys. Scenario goals not working? Let's check google; oh hey some people had the same problem six months ago. No patch, just more shít DLC. Here is the secret to winning for those interested: take out a huge loan and build one really good metro right at the start. Now leave your game on overnight and you can come back and have fun when you have actual cashflow. Cities in Motion 2 is a great sandbox game ruined by seemingly arbitrary design decisions at Paradox Interactive. 5/10 for a nice-looking game that doesn't deliver.
